Clean, private rooms at a great price with dependable wifi and A/C! There are 20 rooms available so there are 20 nearly identical listings. If this room is not available, then please CONTACT ME because I have more rooms. Thanks!
Guests can use the three bathrooms (all three have showers, two have toilets, one has hot water). Guests can share my refrigerator. Guests can use my washing machine but there are cheap services nearby that will wash, iron, and fold everything. Guests can use free wifi.
Interaction with Guests
Since 2001 I've traveled to Thailand as a tourist 24 times and now I'm a resident. I'm happy to share travel ideas, experiences, and what I think are reasonable prices. I depend on apps like LINE (free app) to keep in contact with guests and to "share location" (GPS map feature) . Please download one of these apps and chat with me BEFORE you arrive in Bangkok. Thanks!
I picked this house because I hate traffic jams. This location allows me to walk to everything I could need. You can find out more by searching for Phraram 9 MRT station, Central Plaza Rama 9 mall, and Fortune Town mall.
MRT Phraram 9
AIR CONDITIONER - Please keep your door and window closed if you are using the A/C, and please turn the A/C off each time you leave your room. (Electricity is expensive.)
SMOKING - Outside the house or on the 2nd floor patio is fine.
AIRBNB? WHAT'S THAT - Help all Airbnb hosts stay "off the radar". Never speak to people around the area about Airbnb. Pretend you're a friend from out of town if you must say something. Please don't wander around lost with your luggage (This is why I urge everyone to use maps and free apps like LINE.) Use your best judgment in avoiding drawing attending to your Airbnb host's house.
SHOES - Take your shoes off because the street is SO FILTHY. If you don't like walking barefoot at home, then please bring clean house slippers/sandals.
INTERNET - Free for you to use. Please don't try to change it in any way.
WET THINGS - Please keep wet things out of your room. After your shower, hang your towel outside your room. Sweaty tee shirt? Outside. You're sweaty? Take a shower, dry off, use a fan or air conditioner. Wet leads to stinky. No one likes stinky. Wet makes the A/C work harder. No one likes high electric bills. (Water is cheap! Take another shower!) Keep everything in your room dry please.
DOGS - My dogs are usually locked in my room unless it's not hot outside. If they are walking around you can say HI. (Shih Tsu and Boston Terrier – impossible to bite anyone.) Your dog is welcome! If you walk your dog outside, wash his/her feet immediately upon return. If you let him/her sleep on the bed, you are responsible for removing all dog fur before checkout.
BROKEN... SOMETHING - Inspect your room at check in and if you think something is damaged or broken tell me immediately in person or snap a photo and send to me. This is the best way to avoid a problem at check out.
There's no way to go wrong here. The room is just as in the picture, the house is clean, the location is great. Robert is a very helpfull host. Getting there was easy but even then he was very detailed with the directions.
I enjoyed my stay at Roberts home.
Robert is a friendly and helpful person who made me feel welcome. He gave me some very good advise, what to do and avoid in Bankok. The room was very clean, small but cosy, exactly as described.
He gives a very precise instruction, how to find his place. If you follow them, you will not have problems to find his place.
He has always a lot of guests, so that you can have some nice chats. The location was good as you could reach everything you need within a few minutes walk ( restaurants, supermarket, public transport).
Thank you Robert for the nice time in Bankok.
Like the description of the room, it's clean and safe. Robert keeps the place in a good sanitary condition, and he constantly changes the security code on the door that makes the the place safe. Robert is a good host that answers every question precisely. It's a good home to choose in Bangkok.
Great stay at Robert's place. Everything was clean and safe. It took me a while to get to the location, but Robert's instructions were very helpful. Will definitely stay again :)
This is really nice Airbnb room. Very practical, all informations you need is already here, you have the possibility to self check-in and it is flexible and nice for independent travellers. The room is small but it has the best mattress and pillow that I found in Thailand and I could sleep very well. The location is nice, near big shopping mall and metro. The price is the best that I found for a private room in Bangkok. Super clean. I highly recommend Robert's house!
Das Zimmer war sauber, die Matratze bequem. Robert war freundlich und gibt vorab ausführlichste Infos, wie man zu ihm findet. Alles sehr unkompliziert und angenehm.
Robert an excellent host. Good communication before arriving and answered all my questions quickly and promptly. Accommodation can be tricky to find at night, however Robert had sent extremely detailed travel directions so I could work out where I needed to go. Room small and basic but just what was needed for a one night stay. Location excellent, good neighbourhood and close to MRT. Definately a gem of a find at this price!!
