Walk to everything you need - travel easily to anywhere you want to go. Walk to: MRT station, supermarket, Central Rama 9 mall, Fortune Town mall, swimming pool, ice skating rink, movie theater, dozens of restaurants both inside and outside, and more
I don't think there are many clean, private rooms at this price especially not with dependable wifi and a/c! There are 4 rooms available so there are 4 nearly identical listings. If this listing is booked, then please try the other listings. Thanks!
Guests can use the three bathrooms (all three have showers, two have toilets, one has hot water). Guests can share my refrigerator. Guests can use my washing machine but there are cheap services nearby that will wash, iron, and fold everything. Guests can use free wifi.
Since 2001 I've traveled to Thailand as a tourist 24 times and now a resident. I'm happy to share travel ideas, experiences, and what I think are reasonable prices. Guests seem to prefer Whatsapp to keep in touch and share info while they are here but the "share location" GPS map feature in LINE, Kakao Talk, and Viber works better than in Whatsapp. Please download one of these apps before you arrive in Bangkok. Thanks!
I picked this house because I hate traffic jams. This location allows me to walk to everything I could need. Look up Phraram 9 MRT and Fortune Town. See? Amazing area.
MRT Phraram 9
I stayed in Robert's (pink) room for a total of three days, two nights during my stay in Bangkok. The room was clean, new, air conditioned and comfortable, and Robert's apartment was ideally located and felt like my own. Not only were the living quarters perfect for my stay, but Robert was an excellent host and extremely friendly and helpful as well. I would 100% recommend this stay!
Nice!Robert is a nice and warm host. The location is next to MRT.
After I finished my TEM-4 exam, now i have time to write my story.
This journey to Thai was unexpected. i just came to Thai one week before my TEM-4 exam because I can't change my flights. I was worried about this exam but still I came. It's my first time visit another country and it's exceeding my exceptions.
This crowded and noisy city actually has it's charm to attract people to stay. I had 2 nights in Robert's house. It's clean and comfortable. Actually in this hot city all I want is air conditioner. It has a perfect location. Robert gave me many useful information and it really helped me a lot.
Actually I didn't visit many famous tourists sites, I just walk and see. I'm not interested in temples, best part is being like a local people.
This Songkran Festival (reason I came ) is amazing!!! I have some crazy days in Chiangmai.
7 days in Thai is not enough. And wish I visit Thai next time very soon.
and sorry for some English mistakes i made
Robert is a friendly and hospitable person in general, and the knowledge that he shares about Bangkok makes him that much more valuable of a host. He was able to make arrangements for me when my travel plans changed at the last minute without a second thought. The house is in a fun area that made me feel as if I was living like a local (rather than a tourist), but was also a convenient spot to catch the metro and busses. I saw his place while it was being renovated, and I would absolutely love to see the finished product. His place already is, and will no doubt continue to be, a great home for travelers to Bangkok.
I stayed in the pink room, Robert was an amazing host & very helpful about the local scene. The location is very Central (pun intended).
Rob is a warm, friendly and welcoming host. He is always around to answer any questions that you have. His home has everything that you would probably need - water, towels, etc. It is a great area to be in, just a stop away from makkasan airport rail link station, two train stops from terminal 21, and straight train to get to chatuchak weekend market. If you plan on going to areas like Pratunam or Siam, it may be a tag troublesome as you'll need to change to the BTS. Great massage place few steps away - a definite must-go if you plan to stay here. Choice accommodation if you're looking for a value-for-money place located centrally with a great host to boot! Will certainly stay again the next time I'm in Bangkok.
Robert was a fantastic host. His place is great and near nice restaurants as well a busy department store, mall, and MRT station. His knowledge of Thai and overall Asian culture is superb as he was able to give me the rundown of the Bangkok scene. He took me to local food shops and advised about how to get around without getting scammed. You'd be a fool not to spend your first days/weeks in this wonderful city at his place.
Robert was an amazing host. He's very helpful; He gave me directions on how to get to places and even lent me his wifi access which can be used in certain malls. His place is clean, quiet and very convenient, just walking distance from the MRT. I would recommend staying at his place.
It was great stay and experience. 3 points why I loved.
1. Robert is the best host ever. He take care about us a lot even washed my cloths!!
2. Price. I think here is the cheapest place where I can get a private room with good location. Incredible!
3. Doggies. They are extremely cute. Made me relaxed enough.
Anyway, I love this place and hopefully I'll be back!
The place is neat, clean and very comfortable. Good value for money, good location. The host is very friendly, helpful and considerate, with good tips and advices. I was very happy with the co - tenants. His two adorable dogs. super super and super friendly. I had so much fun playing with them. it was nice coming back from the heat and being grated by them. I recommend it to anyone.
