I highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Calgary or Banff to stay with Roger! The place is spacious and is stocked with food. Roger is a great host: he helped us with our trip to Banff, suggesting a scenic route.
Had a very comfortable stay with Roger.Everything was as described .Plenty of food for breakfast .Laundry facilities were a plus as we were able to wash our playing gear after handball (website hidden) is 10 min walk to the college or the c train .We were situated in a lovely quiet area . Roger is a very pleasant host . I was one of three guys that stayed in Rogers flat and all agree with the review
We arrived with 6 adults. Two seniors and a family of four. This was our first experience with airbnb and thanks to Roger we didn't regret our decision to make use of airbnb. The house was exactly as described, and even more! Even most of the groceries were already present. Roger himself contributed a lot to our stay. Besides giving us loads of touristinformation, he offered to bring us, with his own car, to the c-tramstation. He even had to drive two times because we did not fit all at once the first time! All in all, the house was exellent, in a quiet neighbourhood not to far from downtown and the main highways, and it will be more beautifull when the garden is finished (say hello from us to the brothers). Roger you were a wonderfull host.

We had a great time in Roger's appartment. It is conveniently located, the description and pictures are accurate, and the pantry and fridge were well stocked up with fresh produce and convenient supplies. Rogrr is a pleasant host and very helpful. A very good experience. The japanese tea garden which is being built looks very promising !
We had an excellent stay at Roger's place. It is exactly as described and pictured. Kitchen was fully stocked (including some gluten free options), and absolutely everything was provided to make our stay comfortable. Roger is very friendly and had lots of advice on how best to enjoy Calgary. We had plenty of space for four adults and a toddler, and easily could fit in more. We highly recommend this space, we would certainly book here again!
Roger was there when we arrived. Gave us the tour of the place and offered to drive us to the train station the first time we would head out there so that we would know the way. Knows his town as well as the whole region. Gave us great ideas on scenic routes as well as small towns to visit. Was always available to answer any questions we had. A great host.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Roger's house. The suite was clean and comfortable and could easily fit our group of 5.
The location was great and the stocked kitchen was so helpful! Roger himself was welcoming, friendly and approachable. He made us feel very welcome and is obviously proud of his city and province and was able to tell us the most scenic routes.
We would definitely stay at this suite in the future. Thanks again Roger!
About the Host, Roger
I am retired now and love to travel and meet new friends.
Although I have been to many different countries I still feel blessed to call Calgary home. There is such freedom here, and the mountains are just an hour away.
Calgary is such a clean vibrant city with endless opportunities for work and pleasure.
Nature is at our doorstep both in the city and just outside, and it is free for all to enjoy.
In summer one can float through downtown on the Bow river, a world class trout stream, or be in the foothills of the Rockies in 45 minutes. In winter there is a ski hill 10 minutes from my door, and I can cross country ski a block away.
Having said that, I plan on spending more of the winter months in warmer countries.
Airbnb Mexico, here I come.
