The location is great - right off the main drag. The photos with the listing were spot-on, and the apartment was clean, charming and well-decorated throughout. Kevin was a pleasant and accommodating host.
Kevin's place is amazing. I had some friends who were staying somewhere described as a luxury yacht, which was actually really disappointing - when they saw my accommodation they were super jealous!
Kevin is really helpful. I was probably quite demanding but he was totally happy to help with everything. Really nice guy - it's a shame we didn't get more time to hang out, since I spent the whole trip working.
Can't wait to come back to Seattle - I will definitely stay here again. Can't recommend highly enough!
My experience at Kevin's place was great! This was my first time using Airbnb and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kevin's place looked like it was straight out of a West Elm Magazine. The room we stayed in was perfect, and the whole place was very clean and inviting. Kevin was a great host, and he was awesome about proving suggestions for around town. Also, his place is in a really cool location. It is close to the water, walking distance to lots of restaurants and coffee shops, and easy to get to and from. If you're going to be in Seattle I would highly recommend staying with Kevin!
This was our first airbnb experience, and we could not have asked for better. Kevin's apartment is charmingly decorated, very comfortable, and ideally located. There's a coffee shop on one corner, and an adorable breakfast place and your perfectly sleazy latenite bar on the other. Even two rapid dry cleaners within a couple blocks. It's easy to get anywhere in town from Eastlake.
Kevin's apartment couldn't be cuter, and he couldn't be a better host. We were left keys to let ourselves in and found refreshments in our room ready for us. Kevin works long hours and keeps busy on the weekends so you likely wont spend a lot of time with him, but he's delightful when you do.
We couldn't recommend anyplace higher.
House matched description & photos perfectly. Located a stones throw from a direct road straight into the heart of the city so very easy to navigate. (With none of the noise)
At most a two minute walk from convenience store and a selection of cafes & restaurant/bars for food anytime of the day.
Kevin was a very polite and engaging host, a shining example of the experiences I've had recommending me to use airbnb.
Kevin was the perfect host! The house was super sweet and so nicely decorated. He really has awesome taste. Our room was nice, with a big bed and beside he had put bottles of Pellegrino, magazines about Seattle and fruit. The (shared) bathroom was really good too with a hot, nice shower and big towels. It was our first time in Seattle and Kevin helped us with tips. We had such a great time, hanging around in Capitol Hill (can really recommend the restaurants Presse (french) and Stateside (french-vietnamese) and the bar Unicorn.
I would recommend Kevin and his beautiful house to anyone! Thank you Kevin :)

About the Host, Kevin
I'm a consultant for veterinary hospitals, having transplanted to the Pacific Northwest in late 2008. I grew up in southern California, spent some time abroad working in Europe and lived in Atlanta for a brief stint.
I now call Seattle home and am eager to share my place with travelers for a more personal stay while in the city. I enjoy the outdoors, travel, design/horticulture and a variety of city activities. Outgoing, creating and energetic, I live my life by paying it forward and feel that the first conversation you have with a person is a pretty unbeatable experience! Cheers -
Awesome neighborhood COFFEE (and light eats!) shop with a unique retro design. Stop in to grab a window seat for a great vantage point to people watch for a bit.
Rated one of the nation's BEST dive ba(website hidden)nly. Beer and wine combined with skeeball, darts, billiards, shuffleboard, and arcade games.
A great local brunch spot - Terry and her staff have a huge selection of scrambles, omelets, and other morning delights. The place can get slammed so get there early!
As a great source of pizza and calzones, Pazzo's is a laid back restaurant with an outdoor patio, fireplace inside and a full bar. A cheap, fun eat only steps from our front door.
The evolving chalkboard menu of the Blind Pig Bistro is to surely not disappoint. It was recently featured in The Stranger and is a great addition to Seattle and the Eastlake Neighborhood.
With a Mediterranean palette, it has a kitchen dominated by a wood burning hearth and a bar tilted toward cocktails. It;s sister restaurant is Serafina. ‘Vinyl Night’ Thursday evenings at Cicchetti!
One of Seattle's best Italian eats. Great Jazz brunch!
One of Seattle's best WINE selections just blocks from your stay at the Lake Union waterfront. Doubles as a small, general store at your convenience.
