  • Charles and Sara are fabulous hosts. The house was older but filled with lovingly maintained antiques, and quite clean. Charles made my breakfast and it was very yummy (I ate all of it!).

  • Charles & Sara were wonderful hosts. Having booked for 24/05 and 01/06 as this was central to my plans. Charles made breakfast, this was like being at home in a foreign country. Both Charles & Sara were great company. Felt like being with friends more than hosts. Thanks to Charles, Sara, Jane & Glen for giving that homely stay.

  • Charles & Sara were absolutely wonderful hosts. Charles provided a great fire, a fantastic breakfast, and great company. We would thoroughly recommend this place for travellers. The photo of the bedroom does not do the facilities justice. They were first class.

  • Staying at Charles and Sara's place was great. I stayed there the night before a job interview and they were so flexible and helpful- they lent me an iron, gave me a ride to my interview and later to the bus, let me leave all my stuff there until later in the day and were just wonderful. The place was very clean and the bed was so comfy. I would definitely recommend that anyone coming to Chilliwack stay with them. Thanks Sara and Charles and see you around Chilliwack now that I'm moving here!

  • Charles, Sara and family were wonderful hosts. Their home is beautiful - old with a big lovely log fire and comfy sofas to curl up and watch a movie. The room was big and so comfortable - a perfect haven for a weary traveller! There was even a lovely pot of tea.
Charles made a lovely breakfast of porridge and fruit ( he is Scottish and it was officially the best porridge I've ever had!) and made sure I had directions back to Vancouver airport. He really was a perfect host.
I would very much recommend Charles and Sara's place. A perfect distance from Vancouver if you need to be nearby for a flight or Chilliwack was a beautiful area too. Would definitely recommend the Bridal Veil falls.

  • Charles and Sara and very nice and friendly hosts. Breakfast was wonderful, and the room was cozy, with a comfortable bed.

The location would be most convenient for those who drive -- I walk, and getting to the downtown area proved to be quite a hike. Luckily, Charles was very nice and gave me a ride on the last day so that I didn't have to carry my suitcase.

Despite the distance difficulty, a good experience.

  • I stayed at Charles & Sara's bed and breakfast for a night with my girlfriend and my parents. Their house, while a bit old, was quite comfy and cozy and I enjoyed snuggling up on their couch and watching a movie at night. Charles was a great help and let us know about places we could visit in Chilliwack on a day that wasn't very sunny. Breakfast was fantastic (we had fresh bacons, eggs, and waffle with strawberries and whipped cream). I would definitely stay there again!

We have done a lot of travelling and we met many friendly people. Places we have been by car include, accross Canada, the eastern, western and southern States aswell as Alaska, and Mexico. We also stayed two months in northern Scotland and had a wonderful time travelling through it. We love the outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing, canoening, and hicking.
