Carlo's house was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen and bathroom were a joy to use, and the kitchen being so well appointed (including more le crueset cookware than I've seen in my life) was a complete surprise. The yard was great for my little pups to run around in, and even though it was a little chilly to eat outside, we got to use the grill a couple times.
The bedrooms have gotten some upgrades since photos- bigger baseboards- so the place is still being improved.
All in all, I can't recommend the house enough!
It was absolut fabulous staying at Carlos house. We were 2 couples from Berlin and all of us loved the appartment. The big terrace is perfect for having breakfast and bbq. Everything was clean so we could really feel comfortable; we felt a bit like beeing at a good friends house. We couldnt use the pool because of the season but it looks perfect for a stay in the summer. The beach is 5 minutes away by car. Also perfect for the summer.
We would definitely come back and I can recommend the appartment!
Carlo was GREAT !!!! He was very quick and detailed with his responses. His house at Smith Point Beach is drop dead gorgeous. My mom and I had a relaxing get away at Carlo's house :) THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
Carlo's place is amazing.Everything is as described. We are a family of 4(2 teenage daughters)and the place was more than big enough. The pool and deck area is suberb and we were lucky with the weather so spent alot of time outside. The patio area with a huge weber BBQ was a plus too.The kitchen has everything you need and more.
A really positive airbnb experience with an excellent host. This was our first visit to Long Island and we would love to return one day and stay here again.
My husband and I had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Carlo's Smith Point Beach and Pool Escape. The house was just as it was pictured, even much nicer. The kitchen and bathroom were recently renovated with very good taste and high-end finishings. And it was so lovely sitting on the deck overlooking the pool while eating dinner that was prepared on the Weber grill. Carlo was a responsive host, answering my questions and even providing us with requested beach chairs and umbrellas. Smith Point Beach is a straight five minute ride away, with a concession stand, showers and restrooms. I highly recommend this airbnb spot.
Thanks for all , a very Nice house quiet not far from hamptons.
Nous avons apprécié la qualité des meubles, de la cuisine et du design. Grande piscine très agréable . Vivement recommande
I'd like to thank Carlo for being the perfect host. We absolutely loved staying at his dream pad. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in for something special. Our house is old with older appliances. Walking into Carlo's kitchen and bathroom was like taking a delightful ride into the 21th century. Everything was so sleek and sophisticated, just a soft touch it get everything going. Most people don't understand how important lighting is but here the lighting fixtures are lovely and they are all on dimmers. We loved having spot on lighting then turning them down after dinner. The deck was such a bonus overlooking the pool. We ate dinner out there almost every night, candles lit, so romantic. It was hard to want to go anywhere else. We could tell careful planning went into everything from where the pool is located to get almost all day sun to the high quality items chosen to adorn the kitchen and bath. The pool is elegant, crystal clear and huge with a beautiful deck around it and different areas to hang. I slept lie a baby on the perfect mattresses he chose. Carlos was awesome staying in touch throughout the process and made everything effortless. We didn't need a thing. The highlight of the area for us was Smith Point Beach. Part of Fire Island and so easy to visit over the bridge without taking the ferry. We walked the gorgeous beach and ended up at the Beach Hut. Fantastically fun place with a "hut" for cocktails (even frozen), food and live music. Each night is a different theme, we loved country & 80's night. People dance and have a great time. The sunsets are spectacular, we even saw a double rainbow! I'll never stay in a hotel again when places like this blow them away. Our whole experience with Carlo and his place was nothing but pleasurable. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much for making your vacation one of the best ever.
