My newly renovated property is a stylish ONE BEDROOM GARDEN FLAT just 5 mins from the tube which sleeps 2-4 people.
This sunny flat, which boasts original wooden floorboards, has been completely refurbished to a high specification and includes all the mod cons you would need for your visit.
The main street, Upper Street, is lined with lovely coffee shops, designer shops, antique and junk shops to rummage in and classic English pubs to sample a pint of traditional ale.
* Just moments from vibrant Angel Islington and Upper Street with loads of great restaurants, stylish bars and famous theatres and live music venues that rival the West End.
* Within walking distance to the West End and Oxford Street.
* Easy stroll to Regents Canal where you can walk east to Victoria Park or west towards Camden town and Camden market.
* Moments from Chapel Market and the weekly farmers food market and the eclectic Camden Passage antiques area.
* Easy bus ride to Spitalfields vintage market and Brick Lane with all its famous curry houses and food stalls.
* Close to trendy Hoxton and lovely Columbia Road Flower market.
Nearest tubes are Angel Islington (zone 1) and Kings Cross tube and Eurostar terminal which are both just 5-10 mins walk away and there are plenty of bus stops literally just outside to travel all over London.
The flat is also a few minutes walk from Caledonian Road and Barnsbury overland station which offers the chance to explore further afield outside London like Richmond and Hampton Court.
Parking is available at an extra cost of £5 per day and there is a London cycle hire bike station just round the corner.

The flat is on the ground floor of a classic red brick mansion block. The flat is accessed through double doors into the lounge from the garden direct off Barnsbury Road. There is also a front door and small patio area which is accessed from the estate.
This area around the flat is a quiet residential area with tree lined Victorian and Georgian streets and close to Barnard Park. There are some excellent gastro pubs within a few minutes walk and Upper Street is just 5 minutes walk away. You will find everything you need on Upper Street including supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, bars etc....
The flat has one gorgeous bedroom with comfy double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and big window looking out onto the garden.
The lounge is decorated with some of my favourite art prints and is spacious with plenty of room for you to relax after days of sightseeing!
There are double doors leading onto the garden which overlooks a classic row of London Georgian terraced houses and offers easy access through the gate towards Upper Street.
Guests have the use of two IKEA foam fold-out sofa beds, LCD TV, DVD player and dining table with four chairs.
The newly fitted kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you should need for a comfortable stay.
There are brand new integrated apppliances including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and espresso machine.
And if you decide to have a night away from Angel's excellent choice of bars and restaurants, there is a brand new fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven for you to cook up a storm on!
There is a restfully decorated bathroom with heated towel rail, full size bath and shower overhead.
The flat also comes with free wifi, cable TV, fresh linen, soft towels and a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy when you arrive.
MORE ABOUT THE AREA....
The flat is also moments from Regents Canal and I would highly recommended taking time to stroll 30 mins either upstream to Regents Park and Camden or down river to the beautiful open spaces of Victoria Park and the emerging Olympic Village. There are lots of riverside pubs and cafes to make the walk even more enjoyable!!
I am more than happy to make any recommendations or offer advice for places to eat and drink after getting to know the area really well for years before I moved out a bit further east!

We allow guests to check themselves in using an easy keysafe and we are available throughout the booking in case of any problems or questions!
I honestly think Islington is one of the best places in
London – we’ve got it all: great bars, top-notch food
and great local shops.
Plus with fabulous parks, and a great cultural vibe thanks to many local theatres, a world-renowned dance venue and fascinating museums, there really is something for everyone!
The area around The Angel, Upper Street and Essex Road is of special interest to visitors it is home to a number of interesting shops selling antiques and collectibles as well as art galleries.
Diners are spoiled for choice in Islington, especially the Upper Street area between Angel and Highbury & Islington tube stations.
A wide variety of cuisine and price ranges are available. Mediterranean food dominates but with options like Indian, Afghan, Italian, French, Thai, and South American there is food for all tastes.
We provide all confirmed guests with a welcome pack of our favourite restaurant, bars and pubs plus things to do etc
Just a 10 minutes walk to either Angel or Kings Cross station. There are also dozens of 24 hour buses running all over the city.

THE FORMAL STUFF....
1. No smoking inside but you can smoke in the garden or head to one of the local beer gardens instead.
2. No pets allowed incase you are considering popping your pooch in your suitcase!
3. Please have consideration for neighbours between the hours 23:00-08:00.
4. Apartment must be left in the same condition as they find it, except for normal usage and cleaning. Guest agrees to pay for the replacement of any missing, damaged and/or broken items. For example: cushions, artwork, kitchenware, linens, towels, smoking, new lock if keys lost.
5. Flight delays/cancellations/emergency situations will not result in refund of monies.
6. Internet is offered free of charge. In the unlikely event this is not working, there will be no refund.
8. PRIVACY: We strive to respect the privacy of our guests during their stay and unless requested by you we will not typically contact you during this period.
In this case, if you arrive and find something that seems inadequate (eg. something broken/missing/cleanliness etc) please contact me immediately so that I can resolve the issue. If you do not contact me immediately, I will assume that everything is fine and therefore be unable to resolve the issue. In this case, no refund will be offered at a later date.
9. ILLEGAL/ ANTI-SOCIAL ACTIVITY: Guest agrees that he/she will not use this apartment to engage in illegal activity or to behave in an anti-social manner. The guest agrees not to throw loud parties or engage in other acts that could cause damage to the property or cause disturbance to my neighbours. Failure to comply with this may result in the immediate exclusion of the guest without any recompense for any future rental paid.
10. KEYS: We normally give one set of keys to the guest. Please do not give out these keys to any other person.

Unfortunately the experience was not as smooth as I would have liked. Debbie had forgot to top up the gas and we were left without heat and hot water for over day. I had to top up the gas card myself and to this day she has not refunded the fee. She was completely absent throughout our stay.
The flat was itself was clean but was quite small. When you opened the other bed in the living room there was no space to have dinner or to leave the flat.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
I'm sorry you had a disappointing experience and I have already apologised for my mistake about the gas meter.
I don't really understand why you say you had no heating or hot water for over a day. As soon as you phoned me about the problem, I immediately explained how to easily fix the problem so you had heating and hot water within 10 minutes of contacting me.
I am also a little upset that you say I was absent throughout your stay. I answered every phonecall straightaway and even stayed chatting with you on the phone while you located the apartment because your brother had not read the detailed directions correctly.
Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you still managed to enjoy your visit to London!
Lovely apartment conveniently located ideal for one a couple and two children.
The host was friendly and let us drop off our luggage when we arrived and let us keep it there before left. We were walking distance to the underground and many good restaurants.

My friend and I stayed at Debbie's for a little under a week and found the whole experience great. The place was clean and as pictured. Though we unfortunately didn't get to meet Debbie.. all the instructions she provided couldn't have made it any easier. The tube and buses were a 5-10 mins walk or directly in front of the house, respectively. It was a convenient location with cafés, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance especially with Angel being an ultra cool area to stay within.
Debbie was a great host and answered all of my questions in a timely and efficient manner.
The property was perfect for us and within very easy walking distance of main rail links/shops and LOTS of great eateries and bars.
I would def recommend this to anyone looking to stay in London.
Inside, everything you could require and very comfortable for 2 couples.
