  • Michele's place was lovely. She was incredibly welcoming. We felt like we had lots of privacy. We would definitely recommend Michele's place to anyone going to Sonoma.

  • Michelle was an excellent host and gave us all the privacy we wanted, while being readily available if we wanted.

The guest house was the perfect size for our two day Sonoma excursion and extremely well-located being close to town and plenty of vineyards. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed grilling out our last night. We also really appreciated the fridge stocked with yogurt, drinks and fruit and the bottle of wine that was complimentary.

All in all, Michelle's Casita Sonoma is perfect for a couple planning a short stay in Sonoma.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed in the Casita during a weekend of wine tasting. We had a great time, but both felt it was better suited for one person rather than two.

The hosts responded quickly and provided the necessary details. It was nice to relax in the hot tub in the evening. The free wine/snacks were beyond expectations! The kitchen/internet/TV functioned as expected and were nice to have.

The Casita is in a convenient location for a relaxing weekend. It is walking distance to a couple of decent restaurants and a short drive to a larger shopping area. There’s a really close 7-11 for picking up last minute necessities.

You can't tell from pictures but there is no door on the bathroom, just a curtain. The description doesn't specify but I thought the bed was a queen based on the pictures. It's smaller and can be a bit tight with two people. The hot tub is ~5 ft. from the main house where the hosts live. We felt rude making too much noise outside after dark. Also, there appears to be some sort of salon attached to the Casita/right next to the hot tub and it was in use on one of the days we were there. Given this, we didn't feel an overall sense of privacy.

    Response from Michele:

im so sorry that you felt you did not have privacy. you arrived firday evening and i immediatly left for dinner and did not return into late in the night. and i left in the early afternoon the nest day for a weekend, for myself in the city. you had the whole property to yourselves for most of your stay. i dont know how much more private i could have made it for you.

  • We had a nice time staying at the Casita while we attended a wedding at the Sonoma Golf Course. The location was perfect and a trip to downtown is just minutes away. Michelle was very nice and we found the cottage cozy and had everything we needed. The snacks, breakfast foods, and bottle of wine in the fridge was a very nice touch!

  • Lovely stay in Michelle's Casita last weekend. We were attending a wedding in Kenwood and this spot was perfectly half way between Sonoma Central and the wedding venue. We got a lovely warm welcome from Michelle. The Casita is great. The fridge had a bottle of wine chilled and waiting along with plenty of goodies for snacks and breakfast. The garden is lovely and the hot tub a bonus! We would for sure stay here again if visiting the area.
    Thanks Michelle!

  • We didn't stay for very long, but Michele was a very welcoming hostess! She made our stay very easy, and her studio is lovely. Her studio is the perfect location for a Napa-Sonoma wine tour weekend. Enjoy great wine and snacks and a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

  • My wife just kept using the word 'precious'.. the place is great, Michele is a wonderful hostess... and Sonoma is fantastic. Can't wait to go back. We loved the beautiful patio out back.

  • My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Michele's cottage. It was PERFECT for the one night we were staying in Sonoma/Glen Ellen. Less than 10 min away from Benziger Winery and the restaurants in Glen Ellen, state parks and Sonoma Square. Michele was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was super cozy, and Michele had everything we needed (and more!). We used the hot tub in the evening and woke up to a great breakfast spread she left in the fridge. The bottle of wine was the cherry on top! Thank you so much Michele! I'll definitely will be coming back very soon!
