Hello, We are in the high mountain village of Bareges, just below the Pic du Midi (which has a cable car to 2877m and a good place to take off from), and on the road to the Col du Tourmalet of Tour de France fame. Barèges valley is unusual in the Pyrenees for its East-West trend, avoiding the afternoon winds that plague the main North-South valleys of the range. For this reason, and also because of the numerous ski access roads to high take-off points, the "Ecole de Parapente de Barèges" (Barèges Paragliding School) is based here and has been running successful courses and introductory jumps since 1988.
Stay with us (EMAIL HIDDEN) chalet and get your paragliding licence at our recently renovated house in the lively village of Barèges, only 5 minutes from the paragliding school. We will help you arrange your paragliding course and offer the highest quality accommodation in the area - spacious en-suite bedrooms, sauna, equipment room, lounge and patio garden. Half-board accommodation with tasty home-cooked food. Local transport and airport transfers from Pau are also available.
PLEASE NOTE - prices are per person, half board based on 2 sharing. Discounts are available for groups and families sharing rooms.

In addition we strongly advise you bring a valid EHIC form for each person. EHIC forms are obtainable from most post offices.
