The apartment has a big terrace (as big as the apartment itself) from which you can see complete Kaštela Bay, enclosed with Split (Marjan) and Trogir (Čiovo).
Apartment easily accommodates 5 people (4+1). It has a huge bathroom, kitchen, internet access, parking space and air conditioning.
Apartment is at 10 min. walking distance to beaches, old town with Vitturi castle (built in 16. century, restored and hosts the Museum of Kaštela, Tourist Board, music school, ...), Ostrog's primary school botanical garden...
Your hosts (my parents) are very ecologically aware; you can take a shower on the terrace (using sun heated water). Also they have a garden in which they grow vegetables and fruit. They'll probably greet you with fresh squeezed lemonade, and be more than happy to treat you with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers... Or delicious figs, grapes...
The neighborhood is pretty quiet, so a good night sleep after an exhausted day is guaranteed. The nearest supermarket ("Tommy supermarket") is only 130m from the apartment. Public transportation (bus line 37 and 38) is easily accessible, because the apartment is located less than 500m from two bus stations. It takes between 30-40 min bus ride to Split, and 15-20 min to Trogir.
No smoking is allowed in the apartment, but you can smoke on the terrace.
pleasant stay, we were very well received by mirko (brother) and parents with an appetizer and homemade lemonade we stayed two weeks and we were treated with vegetables and fruits garden. The property is consistent with the very description clean, simple but functional with everything you need, and a lovely view of the (website hidden) bus is not far from the apartment that is convenient to get around if you want it does not reach or can not rent a vehicle. guests are available, meet our (website hidden) does not speak English but meeting people like this family especially the mother extremely kind, makes you want to exchange know more about their culture. if you ever decide to go in Croatia do not hesitate go to Srecko and his family think .our son to return with his older brother as kindly (mirko and mara) were surprised.
My family and I really enjoyed our 1 week stay in July at Srećko’s apartment. Although we arrived late in the evening, his family welcomed us with delicious homemade lemonade and cakes. They were also very nice and helpful throughout our stay.
The apartment is peacefull, very clean and in accordance with photos and description. We really appreciated the huge terrace with sea view !
In short, we were very satisfied and highly recommend this location if you intent to visit Split, Trogir and the surrounding areas.
We were four girls on interrail living here, and had a really good experience renting this apartment! The hosts were so welcoming, nice and kind. THey were super helpsome with all of our questions. We appreciated them very much.
The apartment's location is about half an hour from the centre of Split. That was no problem for us, since we wanted to see something outside the city centre. The apartment is close to bus stops. And a little tip: The restaurant "Baletna Skola" lies close by, and the mixed grill we had there was awesome.
The apartment was exactly as on the pictures, and very clean. The terrace was huge, not to mention. The wi-fi signal was good in the kitchen. We only stayed here for one night, but one of the girls I was travelling with, said; "Oh, can't we just cancel the other place and stay here?" With other words; we're very satisfied! The hosts were wonderful.
Our family of 3 enjoyed our 3 night stay in June in Srećko's family apartment. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Srećko but were hosted by his very friendly parents (Ivan and Željka) and sister (Mara). The family was incredibly welcoming - it was really nice after a long travel day to have cold lemonade and cherries from the garden waiting! Željka kept finding strawberries and other garden treats for our 4 yr old daughter which she was thrilled with. Communication was very good and the family went to great lengths to accommodate the apartment for my wife's scent sensitivities and also gave us lots of great tips for exploring the area. The apartment is as advertised, lots of space, very quiet with an amazing terrace with water view. We loved the garden! We really were happy we chose to stay in the Kaštela area - it is so great living in a real community; very calm and peaceful (plus an easy 10 min drive to the Split airport). We really enjoyed walking along the beach areas with everyone else from the neighborhood and had dinner at two of the local restaurants. There is easy bus transportation to Split and Trogir for exploring those areas. No hesitation recommending this apartment for your stay in the area.
Brice, thanks a lot for a honest suggestions, I will buy those stuff for the kitchen promptly - today! :) I also agree for the terrace, I`m working on it, your review gave me good idea on what to do and what to buy. And I realize for the missing of the hot water in the kitchen - I`ll tell my father to repair it. Thanks for your honest opinion and positive suggestions!
We had a lovely time at Srecko's apartment. It is in a great location and the terrace overlooks the sea. Srecko and his parents were very welcoming and we had homemade lemonade and delicious cakes on the expansive terrace on arrival. Thanks for your hospitality and advice!
Srecko and his family were great hosts. The apartment is perfectly located, a couple minutes walk from sea. Beautiful Adriatic, mountains, night songs of cikades and stars sky. All this unforgotten. Many thanks again.

I love cycling, bicycle is my main mode of transport.
I love spending vacation on Adriatic coast, mainly because I lived in Kaštel Lukšić most of my life. I like to try new things on vacation, for example windsurfing...
