Thank you for a great stay, Nancy. My family loved the little apartment and we appreciated the yogurt parfaits and other treats! Everything was clean and just the right size for our purposes. And what gorgeous countryside around you!
Wow, where do I begin? Nancy and her husband were such amazing hosts! I stayed with them for a week - primarily to have a quiet place to work and rest while my home in Williamsburg is being renovated. Nancy was so kind and attentive. They not only shared their home, but invited me to a gourmet dinner on my last evening there. The space is roomy clean and comfortable. The experience far exceeded my expectations. It is no wonder why Nancy is a "super-host" on Airbnb!
Wonderful accommodations as represented. Even though this is part of the hostess's house it is totally private and in a beautiful quiet setting --- very restful after travel.
Very easy to find. An excellent value.
Appointments are nice and everything is spotlessly clean.
Nancy was so helpful when we arrived and I would have felt comfortable contacting her if we had needed anything.
My first airbnb experience --- will definitely try again.
Thanks for everything.
Nancy did an amazing job to accommodate all of my needs. She worked with me on my arrival time (which was up in the air until about 20 minutes before arriving), had a breakfast that was good for a vegan and vegetarian, and had a great recommendation for dinner (which was amazing). The space its self was perfect for my stay. The bed was comfortable, the living space was nicely furnished, very clean, and there was even a fridge and microwave (which was great for leftovers). Besides the space itself, Nancy was very welcoming and kind, which makes or breaks a stay. She definitely made it a great one, I highly recommend staying here!
Nancy was very friendly and welcoming! Her home is spacious and had everything we needed. It was quiet, easy to get to, and only about 20 minutes from downtown colonial Williamsburg. One very nice touch was the homemade yogurt parfaits for breakfast in the morning. We also had the option to do a yoga class with Nancy but could not take it. We saw the yoga studio and it looked great!
I had a great stay at Nancy and Tom's Little Gem. They were both very welcoming, and Nancy was very proactive about ensuring my arrival went smoothly. The continental breakfast was fantastic, especially the yoghurt parfaits, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The house is peaceful with a beautiful park and walking trails near by. It was a lovely few days!
My friend and I had a wonderful experience. Nancy was very hospitable, she left is a muffins, juice, parfaits and parfaits for breakfast. The place was super clean. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Nancy even has a list of things to do around the area. My friend and I only wish we could of stayed a bit longer. I will most definitely be returning back.
I live in Toano, VA USA. I am married, have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I am a yoga instructor and my husband works for a living-history museum. We reserved lodging through airbnb for our Italy trip and was so impressed with the whole experience that we decided to list our house as a host site for other fellow travelers. It is definitely the best way to go! We spend most of our free time with our grandchildren, gardening, cycling, and traveling. We are pretty easy going; enjoying life and new adventures!
