The apartment is very nice, roomy and clean and very well located. It is just a short walk through a park to Merkaz Ha'Carmel, with lots of restaurants and shops. It also is close to a Supersol market for shopping and a very nice little cafe for coffee and breakfast (there's also a small fruit market next to the cafe, which is very nice). The neighborhood is quiet and residential and was very comfortable. Hanna is a warm and generous host, and we enjoyed very much meeting her. She was very responsive to our needs and communication was excellent. We definitely would stay with her again.

Hanna and Dani are the perfect hosts. They help any way they can, and make you feel right at home. the downstairs apt is lovely with an outdoor area as well. They were willing to help with problems that arose, and used their initiative to help us feel settled. The apt is peaceful and roomie. They are about a block from a Super Sal, and a park. and only a few blocks from the Cinematheque.

I stayed at Hanna’s apartment in Haifa for 2 weeks while visiting family in the area. The location was perfect; in an older very nice part of Haifa a block from the Haifa Auditorium, groceries, restaurants, museums, shops and the parks with a magnificent view of the city and the port. The area is very safe and it felt comfortable coming in late at night. It was nice to be able to walk to a symphony concert at the Auditorium! Hanna was wonderful to work with. She was responsive from my first inquiry and answered all of my questions honestly. She and her husband live above the rental apartment and were always friendly and ready to answer any questions or just chat. There were a few basics missing at first, like extra toilet paper, but that was quickly provided. The apartment is just like in the pictures. There is a lovely little patio with table and chairs that is a pleasant place to sit with shade trees and birds singing, away from street noise. Everything is clean, comfortable, and in working order. There were a couple of cool nights and the heater worked well. The wifi also worked with no problem, as did the TV. The kitchenette had sufficient dishes and utensils to be adequate for some basic cooking; a good hotplate, toaster oven, and microwave. The small refrigerator was enough to keep some basics although the tiny freezer was not cold enough to freeze ice cubes. The only negative was a musty, damp odor that may have been due to recent late and heavy rains. This seemed to resolve by opening windows and airing out the rooms. I did let Hanna know about this and I am confident that if there is an issue it will be resolved quickly. Parking, as in all cities, is sometimes challenging, but mostly Hanna was able to leave her spot available for me so it was not a problem. If necessary, the pay machine is nearby at the corner and there were usually spots to park. Just in general, it is worth buying some universal parking cards from a kiosk so that if you need to pay for street parking elsewhere, you don’t have to worry about change and look for a working machine. I think that the public transportation from this area is very good if you don’t have a car. I was able to catch a taxi very easily one evening from the main street. This was a perfect place for me to stay. I would stay here again and would recommend for a single or couple. Thank you Hanna!

I stayed at Hanna's apartment in Haifa for 6 weeks, and had a very positive experience. First, the apartment. This is a large space -- it has a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and a bedroom! The apartment is located in the back of Hanna's house -- the two spaces share a wall, but that's it! You have your own entrance, and once you close the doors, you have total sound isolation from the main house. This is great, as I had total independence and my own space, but at the same time, Hanna was always accessible if I had questions. There is a shaded courtyard that's all yours, and a lovely garden space in the back. Beautiful! There is a TV with a full line-up of cable channels, a small but very serviceable and well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of chairs/desks/tables. It was just me staying in the apartment, but it is plenty big for two people, or two people and a child/adult guest. There is a large bed in the bedroom, and a good-size pull-out couch in the living room. Second, the location. You cannot beat it -- the house is located in the center of Haifa, in its best neighborhood, right next to the Auditorium and the Cinematheque. This is the nexus of all the bus lines, and this is where the best hotels in Haifa are. At the same time, you are in the residential part of the neighborhood, so it's quite and tranquil. There are two large grocery stores within two blocks of the apartment, and a decent-sized mall just 10 minutes away (by walking). The Bahai Gardens are about 15 minutes away by walking and so is the Louis Promenade. You are a 10-15-minute cab-ride away from Hof HaCarmel (the train station) for easy commute between cities (or a 30-minute direct bus ride if you are feeling frugal). You are also a 20-25 minute direct bus ride away from the beaches. Third, the hosts. Hanna and her husband were lovely! Hanna will tell you about the neighborhood, will answer all your questions, will give you advice re: transportation, etc. At the same time, I never felt smothered, I always felt like I had space and independence. Anything that I had an issue with Hanna took care of immediately. For instance, a few days into my stay the refrigerator stopped working. Hanna immediately ordered a new one, and offered her own refrigerator for me to use in the meantime. And her puppy is the cutest thing in the world!:). The bottom line is if I ever come to Haifa again, this will be my first choice for where to stay.

Hanna is a wonderful and very helpful host and the apartment is excellently located. We had a great stay during the Haifa Film Festival (the apartment is situated one minute away from the cinematheque) and hope to come back next year.

Hanna was incredibly accommodating for our very late arrival. The apartment is very cosy and well equipped. It has an artistic Israeli vibe. It was reasonably clean and we were comfortable. Hanna was very attentive to our needs and promptly dealt with any concerns or questions we had. The location is great for walking to restaurants, bars, shopping and transportation. We really appreciated being able to park in Hanna's spot as the street is pay parking and they ticket for anything over 2 hours during the daytime. All in all, a great place to stay!
