It was a great experience for 6 of us. Ed was waiting for us despite the late check in on a Sunday night. Room is comfortable and very affordable. Not exactly a place to spend the whole day in the apartment, but because we only needed a place to spend the night it was perfect. Public transport are minutes away. Pubs and bars are too. Overall it was great.
The listing was exactly like in the description, excellent location and too. One of the few places that had enough beds and not a hostel!
This apartment is a great alternative to staying at a backpackers.
We had a group of 6 and it was a perfect home base for our long weekend in Sydney. The beds were comfortable, with extra pillows and sheets supplied. We didn't use the kitchen much but it was adequate. The bathroom and shower were good, however with 6 people the hot water was in short supply most mornings.
The rooms can become quite cool at night, and we managed to trip the power a couple of times while running all of the supplied heaters at once.
The location was great, Close to Oxford Street and only a 5-10 minute walk from Museum station.
The apartment itself is showing it's age, with some older window frames and what looked like mould on the roof, but Ed and Andy have done a great job modernising the apartment and turning it into an affordable place to stay.
This is a functional enough apartment, largely clean, water is hot, good price for Sydney. But, mould on walls makes it impossible to recommend to others - I know it's Sydney (grunge) but the mould bit is unnecessary.
Ed was late to show up but the place was clean. Good for backpackers but I would not stay there with my family. The street is very loud at night. For that trip it was just what my backpacking companions and I needed...a place to crash.
Place was great, clean and everything was like the pictures only problem was TVs didn't work.
