The space
Due to stairs, for safety issues, our accommodations are not suitable for children ages 1-6.
This 1000 square-foot, shotgun-style apt with a balcony and patio is located above the city's finest Italian restaurant, Pizzally’s Chianti Room. It is NOT in Lincolnville but in the heart of the historic district. It is steps away from the newest, happening, gastropub and lounge, The Prohibition Kitchen, which has live music from 6pm-12am on the weekends and 6pm-9pm during the week. The owners of Pizzalley's Chianti Room, Prohibition Kitchen and The Roosevelt Room welcome you with 2 complimentary drink cards to be used at Prohibition Kitchen or The Chianti Room (excludes Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, due to restaurant closure) and VIP treatment allowing you to "Skip the Line" to be seated. The Roosevelt Room is open for breakfast. receptions and events, soon to open for dinners.

From the moment you walk on the property you will feel as if you're in Old World Europe. Enjoy your morning coffee, sip an evening cocktail, watch the sun set behind the Presbyterian Church dome. or people watch from your balcony directly overlooking the pedestrian-only St. George St. The front patio offers you a space to sit and relax under an arbor of vines laced with tiny lights.

The apartment has a master bedroom with a king-size bed and pull-out couch in the living room to accommodate four people. The bathroom, accessible from both the bedroom and main room, has a bathtub/shower and a double vanity. There is a full kitchen, equipped with most amenities, including a coffee pot, coffee, tea, sugar, honey, microwave, dishes, silverware, pots and pans.

NOTE: Guests should understand that this is not an ideal space for those seeking a quiet place to spend their evenings. While most of our days and nights are relatively peaceful, on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays, generally between 6pm and 12am, headliner groups perform at Prohibition Kitchen. About 15% of the sound penetrates the doubled brick walls of the apartment. Do what most of our guests do: join the festivities with no worries of transportation home!

There is a free parking spot for one small/medium vehicle only. The area for parking is 8ft wide by 18ft length at max. Our parking space may not be ideal for everyone, especially if you are in a truck or large SUV. We leave this up to your discretion. There is paid parking across the street or overnight parking in the City Parking Garage if you would prefer. Due to the parking situation in the historic district this spot is used for the owner, guest and cleaning crew only. If you arrive and someone is parked in your spot contact Susan. If you would like to park it is available to you ONLY during your check-in to check-out times.

Because we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days we do not allow reservations with check-outs on those days. We like to give all our staff those days off. We appreciate your understanding.

Guest access
Guest have access to entire apartment. Guest also have access to one parking spot during the hours of their reservation. Upon check out time, the car must be moved unless prior arrangements have been made.

Other things to note
*There is only one parking space for the apt to accommodate the guest, cleaning crew and myself so check-in is at 3pm and check-out is prompt at 10am, unless previous arrangements have been made. Unfortunately, UPON CHECKOUT TIME YOUR CAR MUST BE MOVED. Thank you.

*We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We do not allow checkouts on those days.
