About This Listing
I'm traveling and would love someone to take over my space. Tons of room & sunlight. 1 double bed. 1 couch.
Two blocks from G, F, R trains.
Great Brooklyn neighborhood (Park Slope). You'll have everything you'll need. Nightly cost negotiable.
The apartment is railroad style and there is tons of room. There is even a study you can use to do yoga/journal/whatever else you'd like.
Almost everything. I'll keep things in my dresser drawers and will ask that you purchase your own food, but otherwise, what's mine is yours to borrow.
Interaction with Guests
This will depend on your arrival/departure schedule, but will always be simple!
Park Slope is one of the hippest spots in Brooklyn. Great dining, solid night life, and not to far from the city. It also has prospect park, which is a bit chilly, but still gorgeous this time of year.
You have access to three subway stations within a two block radius. VERY easy to get around.
I'll ask that you don't smoke in the house or have rambunctious parties. I also do not allow cats, as I am allergic. Otherwise, I just ask that you be respectful of the space!
Whitney was an excellent host! She was there to greet me and show me around the apartment. She also provided me with a list of suggested restaurants and attractions in the area. The apartment itself was perfect! It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed. Also, it was literally less than a minute from the subway. The neighborhood is great, very up and coming, and the apartment very affordable. I was visiting my family in Park Slope and it was nice to have my own space at the end of the night, and especially one that didn't break the bank. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Park Slope.
We really enjoyed Whitney’s place. It was very conveniently located for us to visit with family while in Brooklyn and very close to several nice restaurants. The closest subway station is only a couple of blocks away. The place has plenty of space for a couple to be comfortable. Whitney was a great host and very responsive through email and text; she also left us notes around the apartment with reminders and directions that were very helpful.
About the Host, Whitney
I'm a global health consultant who travels internationally for work. I like to let others use my great space when I am not here and do the same when I am abroad. Guaranteed you'll have everything you need! If you have questions about me or the space, just ask. FYI - no pets here, so you should be okay if you have allergies!
