Sweeping views of GG Bridge, GG Park, and Ocean on quiet, wooded cul-de-sac with private room (queen size bed) and privatebath. 10 min. from UCSF and GG Park. Access by Bart/Muni from SFO. Free, easy parking . Well-behaved pets welcome.
My view and my private yard and am surrounded by trees. My house is rather eclectic in it's style. Nothing really matches. Cable TV in bedroom (basic cable unless otherwise requested); wi-fi. Very comfortable queen-size bed
Guests have access to outside decks, kitchen, living room and dining room.
Interaction with Guests
I suppose that's up to the guest. I am open to conversation but I would respect their privacy.
There are 60 plus acres of forest (UCSF property) of wooded trails directly above my house that is open to pet walking, foot traffic, and mountain biking. I live on a cul-de-sac and parking is no problem.
From the SFO, take Bart to Glen Park Station and then catch the Muni Bus (#36 Terrasita) to Warren and Devonshire. Walk a short distance up Devonshire (one block), turn left onto Oak Park, 3rd house down.
Other Things to Note
Please let me know if there is anything special you would like me to have here for you in the morning; i.e., coffee, tea, bagels, cream cheese, cheese, bread, etc. Also, let me know your ETA and ETD.
Respect that we have a drought year and don't let the water run unnecessarily. No smoking in house. I don't sleep with the heat on, but if you need to I could supply a floor heater.
Well, everything about Bonnie can be labeled with "super". She is super cool, super thoughtful and humorous. Her dogs are super adorable. Her house has super view over the city (yet quiet and private). Her bed has super comfortability (you will hate getting out of it). She even did the laundry! Enjoyed chatting with her, really wish could have spent more time with her as well as Moody and Sailor. All in all, she is a super 5-star host.
We had a lovely stay with Bonnie and her pups. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the view is spectacular. Bonnie was incredibly helpful with suggesting places to see and even let me borrow a jacket when I wasn't prepared for how chilly it was. It was a great Airbnb experience!
I loved everything about this place. Great location ($7 any where in SF with uber) spectacular view of the city, free parking, the bed was veryyyyyy comfortable, the the bathroom is really nice. Bonnie was a really good/friendly host. She got us bagels for the morning and made us feel at home. I would 110% recommended this place and would definitely stay again.
Bonnie est une hôte qui se soucie du bien être de ses hôtes. Elle est très gentille et ses chiens aussi. La chambre est agréable, le lit très confortable et la salle de bains privée appréciable ! Je vous la conseille.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, the view was beautiful, and Bonnie was a friendly host. She had fresh coffee every morning which was so nice!
It was a clean, comfortable place to stay. We had plenty of privacy. We would definitely want to stay there again!
Nice, quiet neighbourhood. The room was comfortable and clean. Bonnie was a great host - fun to talk to and very welcoming.
We were very busy sightseeing the first couple days, so unfortunately we spent most of our time sleeping and getting ready in the morning. On the last day we were able
to sit with Bonnie and have some great conversation over a bottle of wine! She's awesome!!!
When we first arrived we were greeted by her beautiful border collies who are very well behaved. Bonnie was gardening outside. She showed us inside to our room explaining just enough and leaving us to our own devices and some mild exploration of the house as if it were our own! The room had a very comfy bed and some very nice sheets. What thread count was it, 1000!? The room also has its own private bathroom which is very nice. The bathroom had a beautiful sink and a shower with an amazing shower head. I'm a sucker for a nice shower stream and some good water pressure. We hope to come back in the near future and spend more time with Bonnie and beautiful San Francisco. Thanks Bonnie!
Also she makes wonderful coffee, even grinds her own beans! A++
I began hosting with Airbnb in March 2013. It's been interesting and mostly enjoyable meeting so many different people from different countries. I love that most people that come to San Francisco are surprised at how friendly people are here and how willing they are to help. I went to New Zealand a few years ago and was surprised to find that people were more reserved and a bit more guarded, less open. So I am learning things from people that I did not put together until I hosted. It's fun to hear other people's perceptions of Americans and see their opinions change a little.
I have two border collies - one 14 and one 7. They are very friendly and love people but after their initial greet are very calm. San Francisco is very dog friendly and we walk a lot (off leash). I have 60 + acres of woods behind my house used for hiking and mountain biking, which is quiet and we love walking up there. It is property owned by UCSF and open to the public.
I love animals of all kinds, but would especially love to add a couple of chickens to cluck around outside. But I would have to first figure out how to protect them from nocturnal predators. Typically you don't see them, but we have coyotes, skunks, and raccoons. My dogs know they are there more than me.
Personally, I guess I am a work in progress, still trying to figure out where I would love to live if I were to move...maybe where I could garden more and have more animals. Some place relaxing, preferably with a creek running through...but at the same time a place that is multi-cultural. I am easy going and relaxed and don't stress too much over little things. Sometimes people that feel entitled drive me a little nuts. But I'm trying to learn to ignore them.
I don't really have many hobbies anymore. I'm kind of a work in progress, realizing there is so much out there to do and learn. Hosting has made me want to see more and do more. I traveled a lot when I was younger and am content to just think maybe doing a bit more of it soon. When people stay here from other countries I like to find out more about their culture and where they are situated geographically. I am learning from all of this and it's been mostly good.
