Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • I stayed over Catia's place for over a month and a half, and had the best time I could ! I really enjoyed the privacy I had as well as being able to do as I pleased. Catia was really helpful when needed, calm and very caring. If I had to come back to the UK whether it'd be for a short time or longer like this one, I'd choose her place again !
The kitchen in the room helped a lot when eating-in at night, and the proximity of the house to the Tramlink allowed me to sleep more at least i stead of waking up at the crack of dawn to get ready to go.
Thanks for the amazing time and help Catia ;)

  • Very good value for money. The kitchenette was very helpful. I didn't meet Catia but was given the key by her niece on arrival which was all very easy. Lack of hot water was the only real issue, 2 of the 4 nights I stayed I couldn't shower because the water was so cold. Overall good value and good location.

    Dear Leon,
I see that you are a plumbing and heating engineer and just wandering why you did not contact me or my niece or other guest regarding the hot water.

  • I stayed at Catia's house for 3 months. Overall it was a good experience. Catia was nice and quick to respond to my requests. The room was fully furnished with two tables, bed linen, TV, cutlery, bowls, plates, cups, and some basic cookware (rice cooker, electric saucepan, electric kettle). It looked like in the photos. Wifi signal was strong and stable. Clothes were washed once a week by the host. The house was located in a quiet residential area. In terms of security, I frequently came back at 11pm-12am but never had a problem. There's a tram station two minutes away from the house and it took me 45 minutes - 1 hour to reach the city center (Holborn/City Thameslink). If I come back to London this place will be a top choice for me.

  • Catia is an excellent host. She and her family made me feel welcome from the very first day onwards, and they helped me in any way that was necessary. So I can only recommend her place to anybody planning a visit to London. I had a great time there and would be willing to return any time.

  • Total privacy! Her room is more like a small studio with kitchen. The room was equipped with everything you need. It will take about 45 min, which includes transfer and wait time, to get to London.

  • Catia is (like all my hosts up to (email hidden), who I can really highly recommend.

The guest room is in a very good, accurate and comfortable state with television, a kitchen with a microwave (instead of a cooking plate) and a sink. Furthermore there is a table, a chair and a wardrobe. It is possible to use the refrigerator, which is placed in the floor.

The borough Croydon is a little bit outside from the centre of London and the typical touristic sightseeings. But very close to Catia's house you will find very good public transport. I used always the tram station, which offers very good connections to London centre and Heathrow airport.

Catia is very friendly, gentle, helpful, lovely and reliable. She is was very considerate. You will have to like her, too. I really enjoyed the stay in her house. Her explanations valid like gold, especially I remember well her description to get from Heathrow airport to her house - so exact like a good navigation system.

The next time in London I would stay in Catia's house again – for sure. Thank you, Catia!

  • Very beautiful and comfortable room with a spacious wardrobe ,own TV and a fully equipped kitchenette that saved me from going downstairs to borrow kitchen appliances (only for cooking would I have to go to the main kitchen of the house).Catia was very kind and helpful, she even washed and ironed my clothes. The house is very close to tram service which is linked to the underground (zone 4). I would definitely stay there again.

  • It was a pleasure staying with Catia's family - everything was perfect. They were all very friendly and helpful hosts. Catia even came to the airport to pick me up, as I had never been to London before! I would definitely recommend this place, with easy access to central London. Thank you for everything!
