The high ceiling of the rooms are decorated with an original, classical ornament. Very charming!

Interaction with Guests
Clean sheets and towels are all included. Coffee and tea is also available.
Tram line 4 takes you directly to the city center in ten minutes. Tram line 3 to the museum district. It takes about 15 minutes by foot to get to the center.
Other Things to Note
Towels and bedlinnen are available.
SMOKING ON THE BALCONY PLEASE!!!
Reaching Lilian's apartment was easy and straight forward. The place just so convenient for going to Centraal or just relax at the Pijp, hip places for hang out. The room exactly like she describe on the site with tall ceiling make it so comfy. We spent two nights and would like to back if we visited again. Thanks for universal plugs provided in the room. The wifi somehow not working but I managed without it. Very nice and (website hidden): I was traveling with 3yo daughter and she quite like climbing stair to the room
Lilian wasn't able to meet us herself upon arrival but her friend, Heleen, let us in. Heleen was a wonderful young woman and very helpful. Lilian came by the next day to meet us and bring more supplies like coffee and lovely bath products and even more importantly, fresh salty licorice! :)
I have to say, I've never climbed steeper or more narrow stairs getting to our room but that's all part of the Amsterdam experience, right?! Once into our room on the first floor, the likeness to the picture on AirB&B was exact. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable, and the balcony from where we could see the Amstel Canal was like a little slice of heaven.
The only small negative was that our toilet didn't flush and even though Lilian had her dad try to fix it, it didn't work for the three days we were there. We're Canadians and old campers so we were fine with flushing with a bucket of water but it could be a problem for fussier people.
The area, De Pipj, that our room was in, was beautiful. We were a five minute walk from the # 4 tram that took us right to Central from where EVERYTHING revolves!
I couldn't recommend this B&B more highly. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Lilian's room was a wonderful retreat from our Amsterdam sightseeing. The room is quite large and is well stocked with maps, fridge, dishes, towels, etc. Private bath inside the door to the suite for complete privacy, and only 1 flight of stairs to the room. Comfy bed, washer & dryer ensuite, Juliet balcony with views of the canal, and fantastic location in De Pijp neighborhood with bars and restaurants but off the tourist grid.
Lilian was away during our stay and we did not get to meet her. The set-up is more like a B&B (minus the breakfast) than other AirBnbs we've stayed at. There is no access to other parts of the home, and no opportunity to get to know our host even had she been home.
