Interaction with Guests
Happy to help. I have maps, local info, guides and travel info, a cuppa tea and a wee chat with an introduction to The Friendliest City in the World
(That's official! We've even gotta Cup.)
Above a great Italian Cafe, with two others within 200 meters. (but you get a discount from Smile! Cafe because Santino loves AirBnB too.)
Beautiful riverside walk 100 meters away, with over 50 restaurants and pubs within a 15 minute walk. Plus, 9 museums, botanical Gardens, 3 parks all within 20 minutes.
7 minutes (I geekily timed it) to Underground system and 4 minutes to all major bus routes, though, you can easily walk anywhere from the apartment.
Other Things to Note
You can call, text, email me about anything. You really are welcome. Good communication seems to keep the stress of your journey down as much as possible. Also, you can check-in anytime, I've had guests arrive at 6.30am and at midnight (that's EasyJet for you) its not a problem,.
Relax, you're on your holiday!
An absolute highlight of a dream trip! Dave, his house and glasgow for that matter can't possibly be captured in blurbs and photos. too much wonderful fun x
Chambre (et appartement) avec beaucoup de cachet. Dave nous a fourni tout le nécessaire pour pouvoir visiter Glasgow, hélas un seul jour sur place c'était un peu court.
First time in a flat in Scotland. Loved the décor. Dave was great company. We had good conversations and he told us about some sights to see while we were in Glasgow. (Bonus because he had a map for us). We had everything we could possibly want or need. The bed was super comfy. Great experience. Highly recommend for anyone.
Out of all the places I stayed in Scotland (and they were all great) my stay at Dave's fat was by far the best. Dave is a phenomenal guy... very kind, offered us tea upon our arrival, showed us a map of the city asked us what we wanted to see and gave us advice. His place is very easy to get to, a beautiful flat to stay in... great location. and again Dave is just a great guy, if I am ever back in Glasgow this is the place I want to stay.
Recommended to everyone.
Dave is an amazing host and I highly recommend staying at his flat if you are visiting Glasgow. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the living room had plenty of room to relax, and the bathroom was great.
Dave himself is a great guy. When I arrived he made us both a cup of tea, told me about Glasgow, and took out a map to show me the places I should visit. He even walked me to local pub where I ate lunch.
What can we say about Dave that hasn't already been said? HE IS AMAZING. Initial communication: spot-on, funny, useful. Right before we showed up: gave us parking recommendations and pointed us to a fabulous, unbelievable hike above Loch Lomond. When we showed up: infinitely kind, jovial, tea-offering, genuine, you name it. He's the real deal. The apartment is cozy and clean, with everything you could possibly want, and close to delicious food and lovely sites (all recommended by Dave, of course, and you would do well to take each and every one of his recommendations). Dave even gave us tips for our travel after we'd left Glasgow, and made sure we knew he was available for any questions. Dave is someone we can't wait to get to know better and to show around our neck of the woods.
We had a great time at Daves flat. Brilliant west end location, walking distance to lots of great pubs abs restaurants. Clean comfy room. Would definitely stay again.

About the Host, Dave
I love walking, reading, eating. Love good friends, conversation and cooking Love animals, sunshine, rain, snow. I'm a wee bit shy but people say I'm a cheery little fella and easy company. I'm five foot seven inches tall (that's not tall) so I don't take up much space. Text me even if you just want any info on Glasgow, I'm happy to help out if I can. Now, if I can just figure out how to add a photo...
