There are many ways to experience Rome. Have you ever tried to fly over it and look down? And it's not just about looking. It is about feeling. This apartment is the chance for you to feel the warmth of Rome's very heart… its history and traditions.
The inside also represents an excellent example of Roman ancient style. The old fireplace, the wooden stairs and the wooden beams of the ceilings, the thickness of the walls and the beauty of the design itself will make you feel from the inside of the city. Many people go back home with iPhone and iPads stuffed with pictures. You will go back home with your pictures of course, yet also you will find yourself trying hard to tell your friend about Rome… something indefinable. A feeling that used to breathe from the very walls of your place and through the windows, from the silence of the night and the morning sunlight.
We were talking about history and tradition… the house is located right between the historical center (Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, the Pantheon…) and Trastevere, the most traditional of the Roman neighborhoods (markets, churches, local restaurants and bars).
It is also excellently connected to Termini (the main train station) through an Express Bus Line (15 mins) from which you will be able to take off to the other main Italian City within 3 hours (Florence, Naple, Salerno and Venice) . And from Termini you’ll reach Fiumicino Airport in less than one hour.
How to get here:
- From Fiumicino airport: take the train FL1 that brings to Termini station, and then the bus number 64 ("Piazza della Stazione di San Pietro" direction) until "Corso Vittorio Emanuele / Tassoni" stop (12 stops) or number 40 (it's an express line... even better). Get off and continue on foot for 2 minutes.
- I'll arrange a car for you
Please note that for arrivals after 20 pm an extra fee of € 35 is required. You can pay the late check-in fee cash directly to your greeter. Thanks
This apartment was simply adorable, just as indicated in the pictures! The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming - could not have asked for an easier or more pleasant experience!
Thank you for the lovely apartment! The location is perfect, close to Campo de Fiori, Vatican, Piazza Navona and Pantheon. It is extremely close to bus stop and supermarket. The apartment is very clean and has everything needed for a nice getaway. The hosts were wery helpful and very quick and responding to all my questions.
Great little apartment on a quiet street in great location! My husband and I visited Rome for the first time with our two teenagers. Emiliano was a great host. He met us at the apartment late at night - our flight was delayed due to weather - and was very accommodating. Emiliano was very helpful to suggest places to eat. There is a small grocery store right around the corner as well as a place to pick up a coffee to go. It is a short walk down "boutique alley" to Campo d'fiori where we bought pizza everyday. The apartment was up three flights of stairs but this wasn't a problem. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed, except maybe a microwave. Wifi worked well. It was great to have a washing machine in the apartment too as we stayed for a full week. We were there for New Years Eve and watched the fireworks from the sunroof and upstairs window! Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
