Once upon a time, a very famous family from Florence decided to sojourn in Rome. It chose one of the best places of the city (just close to Via Giulia street) nowadays known as Vicolo delle Palle, and maybe the alley's name hails from the family's emblem, composed of six balls, which originally (but it's just a hypothesis!) had represented six pills, referring to the dynasty's old profession: we're talking about the Medici lineage, so you can imagine how fascinating and refined the alley in question was, where now is situated the apartment we're glad to introduce to you.
The charm of this "vicolo romano" doesn't fail to enchant tourists and Roman citizens today, and for this reason we're fully convinced that you'll fall in love with it. This cozy attic composed of three levels (two of which are habitable) is especially suitable for young couples, groups of friends and for all those who don't get tired going up the stairs.
In fact, you can reach the apartment after going up two flights of stairs, and just on the third floor you'll be able to come in to the attic, where a bright living room with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen is waiting for you with open arms.
Right there, two cozy sofas, a charming wood-burning fireplace and a big flat screen TV will pamper you during your stay, while a wide window will warm you, letting Roman sunbeams flood the spaces. On the same floor you can find the first bedroom, composed of two single beds, and the bathroom equipped with shower. Upstairs you'll find the master and romantic bedroom (this room is the only with AC) with a queen size bed and beautiful windows (the apartment accommodates up to 4 persons).
As you may have already understood, this apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay: in fact, among the amenities, you can find washing machine, air conditioning, heating system, wi fi connection, and a fan, whatever you need it is at your disposal at any time. But even outside the apartmen everything is at your fingertips: the marvelous Vicolo delle Palle alley is surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets and caffes, and within easy walking distance you can reach Castel Sant’Angelo, St. Peter’s Basilica, Campo de' Fiori, Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. Believe us, this attic will leave you wide mouthed!

Great little apartment on a quiet street in great location! My husband and I visited Rome for the first time with our two teenagers. Emiliano was a great host. He met us at the apartment late at night - our flight was delayed due to weather - and was very accommodating. Emiliano was very helpful to suggest places to eat. There is a small grocery store right around the corner as well as a place to pick up a coffee to go. It is a short walk down "boutique alley" to Campo d'fiori where we bought pizza everyday. The apartment was up three flights of stairs but this wasn't a problem. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed, except maybe a microwave. Wifi worked well. It was great to have a washing machine in the apartment too as we stayed for a full week. We were there for New Years Eve and watched the fireworks from the sunroof and upstairs window! Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
