Large apt with plenty of sunlight, perfect location 1 block from major subway hub in Union Square, plus farmer's market & plenty of shops, restaurants, & activity all around!

The Space

Located 1 block south of Union Square Park, central to everything in Manhattan. You can reach virtually all city landmarks within 15 minutes on a single train out of Union Square, including Times Square, Broadway Theater District, Grand Central Terminal, M.O.M.A, 5th avenue, Metropolitan Museum, Central Park

You'll have a queen sized double-thick air mattress in living room (separated past couch, feels like a studio apartment). I will be staying in the bedroom.

Transportation: 1 block to 14th Street-Union Square station N/Q/R/4/5/6/L trains. 2 avenues to NJ PATH/F/M. Lots of buses. Feet.

Everything you need within a few blocks: beautiful park, 24 hour parking garage, 24 hour deli across the street, wash&fold laundry, pharmacy, grocery store (incl Whole Foods and Trader Joe's), ATM, Internet Cafe and of course tons of restaurants.

Amazing neighborhood, with a part-time doorman (4pm-midnight) adding to your safety. Bedroom faces back of building, allowing for quiet rest.

Includes: Wifi, A/C, fully equiped Kitchen, very well insulated windows.

This apt. is not suitable for children under the age of 10. I do not have safety guards in the window and the space is not toddler proof. Therefore I cannot accept children under 10 years old.

Linens and sheets are provided. No smoking.
Check-in flexible.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I will be happy to assist you and provide you any information you need..

  • Sean rocks it. We're all in the business of being good to people and that's what Sean does with his approach to AirBnB.

I wanted to stay and keep chatting like I'd just made a cool new friend. He showed me around his neighbourhood, we went for brunch, he made sure I got out the door in time at the end of my stay, even printed my boarding pass.

Seriously, if you are looking for the New York location that is right in the heart of the action, central to all the villages, then this is where you wanna be, stop looking, you've found it.

Hands down coolest location and host.

    Thanks Sean :)

  • Sean was very welcoming with us and gave us advice for visiting NYC. He is very helpful.
His flat is very well situated, near Union Square, subways and a lot of stores and restaurants. Perfect for tourists !
We would like to come back.

  • I was attending a wedding in NYC last weekend and after arriving in the city was informed my place fell through. I now had just 3 hrs to find a place for myself and my girlfriend to stay and get cleaned up before the cocktail party. I was at The Spotted Pig, an awesome restaurant on W. 11th St., combing through air bnb in a panic. Sean was lightning fast with his response and meet us out at the Pig. He was very nice and we chatted for a long while after which we agreed to stay at his home. He is located in a great neighborhood and the apt is quite large. The kitchen is an added bonus as is the enormous t.v. and internet. He was a wonderful host. We expect to see him in Miami at some point. Thanks Sean!

  • I moved to NYC for work and needed a place to crash. Through AirBnB I stumbled upon Sean's place. As it was my first airBnB experience, I was a bit reluctant towards it, but Sean took all my doubts away. His apartment is nice, the bed in the living room was very comfy. Sean went out of his way to accomodate me and my schedule. More importantly me and Sean ended up watching series together and having dinner. I would recommend everybody to stay at Sean, as he is as good as it can get.

Hope to have a drink with him next week!

  • Sean was a great host. Although we shared the unit with him, it still felt private. Sean was also very fast with his responses and was kind enough to help us out with a last minute booking due to other accommodation falling through. Great location would definitely recommend

  • Staying at Sean's appartment was a nice experience for several reasons. First of all Sean is very attentive to your needs and helpful with all the tips about the city. Second the location is superb, as it's full of nice places to eat/drink/buy and a walking distance to lovely areas of Soho, Noho etc. Third all the basics items (tower, shampoos, hair dryer, kitchen, TV, internet etc.) are available for guest's convinuence. If you are OK with typical Manhattan ceiling (not high), air bed and sleeping in the living room-studio, you would be glad with your choice.
Overall with Sean's genuine hospitality it really feels like staying with a good old friend. ))

  • This was my first time using AirBnB and Sean set the bar extremely high for my next travels. He was an amazing host, highly communicative, and had great suggestions for practically any type of food, bar, cafe, etc. He was very welcoming, accommodating, and made it feel like I was visiting a friend.

The location is amazing. Walking distance from almost anything you would want to do.

Would definitely book with Sean again.

Changing the world, one startup at a time
About
Grew up in NYC, so I can definitely give plenty of advice for places to go / things to see. I've lived in a wide variety of places (Spain, Texas, Connecticut, Philly) and love to travel, and look forward to sharing stories. I'm happy to show you around if time allows, or leave you on your own if that's your preference. After years in the corporate world, I recently launched a social-good startup, and enjoy the entrepreneur lifestyle and the flexibility it allows, as well as the incredible feeling that comes from working hard to make a difference.
