*OTHER PETS*
All other pets (including cats) are NOT ALLOWED.

*NOISE*
Because our neighbours are sensitive to noise and enjoy a quiet environment in nature, it is strictly forbidden to party at the chalet. We ask you to be sensible with any music being played or with singing around the campfire. After having bad experiences in the past and complaints from our neighbours, we have installed outdoor cameras and a noise meter. The cameras are outside in order to secure the house and parked vehicles. The decibel meter does not record, it simply sends us a notification above a certain noise level. We should not be able to hear you from the parking entry. If I receive multiple alerts and see it is excessive, I will cancel the reservation without refund and the eviction will be immediate.

*CELLULAR NETWORK*
Note that the cellular network is rather weak. You may have difficulty receiving or making calls.

*TV*
We have a smart TV in the unit but don’t offer cable channels. You can enjoy apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube. Just log in to your accounts!e vous connecter avec vos comptes !

*FIREPLACE / LOGS*
You have access to the outdoor fireplace, however, you must bring your own wood. I suggest you bring kindling and paper to help start the fire. Also, as lighters disappear easily, I advise you to bring one. You can buy wood and accessories near the chalet, the addresses will be in your guest manual. The outdoor fire pit is not plowed from November to April, so if you want to use the outdoor fireplace in winter, it is your responsibility to clear the access.

It is FORBIDDEN to use fireworks.

*MICE*
Due to the natural environment surrounding the chalet, mice may occasionally find their way inside. We perform a thorough cleaning after each stay and work with a professional exterminator to prevent this from happening. However, despite our constant efforts, traces of mice, such as small droppings, may appear between households or during your stay. Rest assured that we do our utmost to ensure your comfort and peace of mind.

*ASIAN LADYBUGS*
The changing seasons of spring and fall bring the arrival of small, colorful visitors seeking warmth: Asian ladybugs, an invasive species in North America. You may encounter them during your stay during these periods. Rest assured, they are completely harmless to your health.

The chalet is facing the lake Ving Sous. We have private access to the lake.
There is a dock on the water and the lake is swimmable. The bottom of the lake is nice and sandy with a little bit of rocks. We recommend that you bring water shoes if you want to swim. There is a canoe, a kayak, two life jackets for children and 4 life jackets for adults at your disposal. Motorized boats are allowed on the lake. You cannot launch your boat directly from the chalet grounds. For more details, visit the website of the municipality of St-Adolphe d'Howard. You can fish on the lake. You have to get the fishing license at the Canadian Tire. Also, there are also several outfitters in the area that offer this service. Visit the Quebec outfitters website.

*WINTER*
Depending on the ice conditions, it is possible to skate on the lake. I ask you to always be careful and to inspect the ice well before stepping on it. You can also visit the municipal ice rink. You cannot ice fish on the lake.
