I have a nice room for two for rent in my appartment in Amsterdam. My appartment is situated in the western part of town. It's quite close to the airport and easily accesible by bus and tram. With the tram it's about twenty minutes to the town centre. There are two railway stations close by. There is a shopping centre in the vicinity, including a night shop. Also there's the largest park of Amsterdam and a lake at waling distance, if you feel like escaping the hustle and bustle of the town.
My appartment is 128 m² and I have one bedroom available for maximum two people. Besides the bedroom you are free to use the rest of the appartment off course. That means besides the room that I have rented to my housemate.
Renting the room implies the following;
- use of internet or computer (other via wifi or by guesthouse)
- use of washing machine and dryer;
- use two public transport chip cards (you need to charge them yourself)
- city map;
- use of travel guide and other touristic information;
- fresh towels every other day;
- a stay of at least two nights (at least a payment) otherwise it's too much hustle.
Smoking is prohibited inside, if you feel like smoking please do so on the balcony. I also can't alow any pets.
I hope to see you soon in Amsterdam. If you have any requests or questions don't hesitate to ask.
(website hidden). This place i s ideal for the IBC. Only twenty minutes by public transport.
I haven't got many rules. Frankly it's my place that I am offering to you, so act like you are at home. I am giving a warm, welcoming and civilized reception and expect about the same from a guest. The rules that i have are; no smoking; no use of drugs and no pets.
Han's home is very comfortable with easy access to the train to downtown, groceries, and good food. Han was also flexible with my travel schedule change and arranging to have keys available for me when I arrived. The bedroom was comfortable and the morning sun was a great way to awaken to the new day. I would recommend Han's place to anyone looking for a wonderful home experience in Amsterdam.
Han was very understanding when we had issues with being late for check in. The place was very clean and the other renter in the flat kept to herself mostly. Only issue was that it was a 25 minute tram ride to the city, but if you're not too worried about being super central it's not a problem. Very close to a grocery though and there's food across the street. He provides lots of information too, and refillable tram chips.
Han is a great host! We stayed at his place for ten days and we loved this apartments! It not so far from city center, it is rather big and super comfortable. Han helped us with everything that we need and was very hospitable. Good luck, Han!
Han is a good host. The room is very clean and comfortable with a great soft bed and the view from the window at morning is so peace. I felt so nice and relax. I would recommend his place to anyone to visiting Amsterdam.
Han is a very warm-hearted host, my gf and I spent three nights at his place, and it was awesome. The living room and dining room are spacious, the bedroom is well cleaned and organised. We chatted a little bit about architectures, and Han kindly gave us quite some food and sight-seeing tips.
Han's home is really the perfect place in Amsterdam and he is the perfect host! The place is large, comfortable, very nice and clean and well served by tram and bus. We used to take the tram number 14 and 7 to go to the station and to the centre of the city and it took us 10 minutes more or less. Han is very kind and helpful, he gave us a lot of maps and informations and he usually asked to me if everything was okay during the week. 10+ to our host!:)

My name is Han and I am from Amsterdam. I am a real estate professional and I love the concept of this website. I have some experience now with sharing or renting houses this way. I just like the concept of airbnb a lot, it gives you a way of hosting other people, but also travelling at a very affordable way. I do have a nice apartment in Amsterdam which we are renting out from time to time as I don't use it that often. Besides that we have a room available in Waterland.
I discovered the website when i was on holiday with my partner and her two girls. We were trying to find accommodation at that time and were really charmed by the concept. My family consists of my partner and two lovely girls. I also have a daughter of my own which sometimes stays with us. We are all non-smokers and very tidy, if I might say so. Off course with having kids things might be a bit different off course.
I think there's more to say about us, but maybe it's better to find out as we will take good care of the places that are available. It's a matter of good housekeeping. Something to be expected from our guests as well.
