A delightful, charming and comfortable home... our stay was most enjoyable and our hosts Edward and Louise were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. In a great location, the city was only a short drive away and dining options were just minutes walk away.
A wonderful choice for staying in Sydney.
This property suited our purposes of a short weekend stay in Sydney. We needed 3 bedrooms for our group and this property was significantly cheaper than a three bedroom serviced apartment in a similarly convenient location. Plusses of the property are that it is superclose to the shops and public transport hub at Bondi junction and has a good amount of room for a group. Down sides are that the house is relatively old and was very warm on what was a very humid weekend in Sydney. If you have small children the stairs are very steep to get to the second and third bedroom. On street parking is easy on the weekend but a bit more challenging to find close by during business hours. But the hosts were very helpful and let us know when a couple of spots right out front became free. The hosts are friendly and stay in a studio at the back of the property.
Host was busy at the time when we arrived but she already left the door open. It is a unique experience to stay for three nights in such a charming house with great location. A few minutes walk to the bus station to the City, to shopping mall, Bondi Junction, or to a few Thai and Japanese Restaurants. The house looks exactly the same as shown in the pictures, though with some maintenace issues that I trust not difficult to get rectified. Like the lamp bulb in the sitting room is not woking, the frige in the kitchen is half full with the host's own food, the only washing machine is placed inside the 2nd bathroom used by the host so we will not use, and there is almost no hanging space for laundry.
Beautiful neighbourhood. Edward and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Lots of space. It was very hot when we were there and the little portable air conditioners were not very effective.
Edwards was a welcoming and very helpful host. His home is located in a charming part of the city within easy reach of transport, various retail areas from the vast centre to local street strips with coffee shops and other outlets of a local nature. Parking is easy.
The house is very attractive with elegantly furnished reception rooms and bedrooms. With its three double/queen beds accommodates three couples easily and two children can also be tucked in. With the maximum load the bathrooms (the second also used by the hosts) are well used and the extra room which is also access to the main bedroom could not easily be used as a private bedroom.
Edward made us very welcome into his lovely home. The house is roomy & was great for inviting our friends who had travelled for the wedding.
We had a lovely stay home from home in Edwards lovely & spacious home. Edward is very friendly, hospitable, flexible & informative. We felt at ease to invite friends for eats & drinks. Location great too for Sydney attractions, shopping & Eastern beaches. Thanks Edward from all of us, you made our wedding preps enjoyable.
