Edwards home was perfect for our weekend in Sydney. Perfectly located, beautifully styled and more than enough room for our group of 6. So much nicer staying here than in a generic hotel room and very reasonably priced. Thanks again Edward, I will definitely recommend to friends.
This was our first Airbnb experience and I must say it was fantastic to have the space and not stay in Motel or an small apartment. There were five of us and we all had plenty of room. Normally when we go to Sydney we stay in the city area but this gave us the opportunity to explore outside the CBD. The house was just as it appeared on the site and the position was perfect. There was easy access to public transport, there were a lot of great eating places within walking distance and plenty of shopping in the area. Edward was warm and friendly on arrival and was also available if we needed to talk during our visit. I would highly recommend the home.
What a great place and location, Louise made us feel very welcomed. It was nice coming home to a made up bed.
This house is in a good location, central and in a nice neighbourhood. It is clearly a much loved family home which is decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques, though is quite worn and not necessarily in great order. The two key issues we faced however were; 1. We stayed in early July and the house was freezing with it being warmer outside than it was in. With no central heating, warming the house to a bearable temperature was dependant on a few gas/electric portable heaters which simply weren't effective enough and resulted in a very chilly stay! Number 2. As stated, the owners live in a granny flat to the rear which prior to booking I didn't foresee as a problem, assuming we would still have complete privacy and utilisation of the full house. In fact they live in very close quarters, utilising one of the house's bathrooms (albeit accessed externally) and entering the house of their own accord during our stay. Unfortunately this prevented us from truly relaxing and this coupled with the cold lead to a rather uncomfortable stay overall.
Thank you both- fantastic hosts that helped us feel as if we were in our home away from home! The locality is perfect for accessing transport easily or strolling down the road to collect takeaway, eat out well and look in an art gallery! We had 3 perfect evenings here as 3 sisters each with our own room. We enjoyed eating takeaway in the dining room and breakfast in the kitchen then dinner out! Fresh cut flowers were a secisl touch and the unique styling really enhansed our stay! Thank you both!
A delightful, charming and comfortable home... our stay was most enjoyable and our hosts Edward and Louise were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. In a great location, the city was only a short drive away and dining options were just minutes walk away.
A wonderful choice for staying in Sydney.
This property suited our purposes of a short weekend stay in Sydney. We needed 3 bedrooms for our group and this property was significantly cheaper than a three bedroom serviced apartment in a similarly convenient location. Plusses of the property are that it is superclose to the shops and public transport hub at Bondi junction and has a good amount of room for a group. Down sides are that the house is relatively old and was very warm on what was a very humid weekend in Sydney. If you have small children the stairs are very steep to get to the second and third bedroom. On street parking is easy on the weekend but a bit more challenging to find close by during business hours. But the hosts were very helpful and let us know when a couple of spots right out front became free. The hosts are friendly and stay in a studio at the back of the property.
