Stefano is an amazing host. His more than adequate accommodations are in a perfect location to the major attractions, restaurants, and easy to get to from the airport. Stefano provided lots of information on how to get around town and to make the best out of my trip.
Stefano was an amazing host. Everything i needed was laid out nicely for me, and after which he gave me plenty of personal space and privacy. He was very accomodating as well, and he knew how to be an excellent host. His place was very convenient with a lot of food around, along with bars as well. His recommendations for dinner was extremely good. His place is the place to stay in rome!
Stefano was an awesome host. He let us drop our bags off before check in time so we didn't have to lug them around, he left breakfast out each morning, and he was very kind. The room was spacious and had a fan that was great. The internet didn't really work but other than that it was perfect!
We had a fantastic time in Stefano's flat that is truly in the heart of trastevere, a beautiful part of Rome that is near the river and full of local restaurants, shops, and artisans. The place is very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Stefano has tons of information and recommendations and an apartment that makes you feel at home!
Stefano was incredibly friendly and the room was comfortable and air conditioned! Breakfast was left out for us every morning, which was very much appreciated. Location also could not have been better. Bathroom was quite small, but that wasn't a deal-breaker.
The listing and the reviews were exactly as stated. We stayed with him for three nights. Stefano is one of kind - it is like staying at a friend or relatives home. He makes you feel that welcome! However it was like he wasn't even there, so for our first experience in a shared airbnb place it was great. He welcomed us with some cold water and sparkling white wine on a very hot and humid day - just what we needed after being crammed into very warm and packed tram!
We were a little skeptical of renting a room in a hosts house and sharing a bathroom with a host, however everything went very well. Although the bathroom is small, it works very well to shower in, so it was not an issue at all, especially with having two mirrors in the bedroom.
The bedroom has a fan and an air conditioner so you can control your own temperature for you own comfort level. An there is plenty of room to hang and store clothes so you are not having to live out of your suitcase - a plus!!
Stefano is truly a great host as all the reviews state. He provided very good directions and recommended good places to eat, overall he was very knowledgeable, accommodating and generous. He also provided a print out each morning, highlighting where we needed to go to see the sights we wanted to see that day.
Highly recommend Stefano's place!! His place is close everything you would need; 1 block to grocery store, within two blocks of great bars and restaurants and very close to #8 Tram - 1 1/2 blocks from nearest stop.
We took the Green train from Airport to Trastevere and then took Tram #8 to Ministry of Education, walked 1 1/2 blocks to his apartment.
We used Tram #8 daily as well to the heart of Rome - Capitoline Museum area and walked to all destinations (Vatican, Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, National Museum & etc). The only time we took at taxi was to get to Borghese Museum.
