  • We absolutely loved the loft space! Big, beautiful, unique, warm, relaxing, and private with the most comfortably pillows imaginable.

Jessica, Gus and family were warm, friendly, easy going, and accommodating … but the atmosphere was still very private, we felt comfortable doing our own thing, we could come and go as we please, and the timing of breakfast was completely flexible.

It was the perfect spot to come back to after skiing and skating in Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks. The location was perfect for us –easy access to Arrowhead and Algonquin, and just a 3 minute walk to the pubs, restaurants, and shops downtown Huntsville.

We spent 3 days (2 nights) here – it was the perfect way to ring in 2014!

  • A warm welcome with both hosts very relaxed and accommodating - we could come and go as we pleased and Jessica even made us a great b/fast in the morning ... the room is spacious, well presented and furnished - I would highly recommend this as a home from home in Muskoka ...

  • Although I was late arriving, it was not a problem at all. I had a very warm welcome, a very cosy night in the heavenly kingdom above ;) and the next day a 2h breakfast with everything you could ask for: rich good food, lovely talks and a nice baby on my lap. So overall: we invited them to come to our house as well - what more shall I say?

  • Well.. Huntsville is an amazing town. Jessica's house is big and absolutely beautiful. Our room perfect, nice and clean.
We went there with our 2 years old son and he was so happy to play with Jessica's lovely kids and her quiet and funny dog.
We could use her kitchen to prepare our meals, that was helpful for us with the kid.
Jessica and Gus are really friendly and they gave us many useful information about the surroundings.
We spent great time there! Thank you!

  • We loved the large private area in Jessicas and Gus' tastefully decorated charming house. The rich and delicious breakfast was a ideal start to our daily program. We were happy to meet a very nice and hearty young family.

  • An absolute delight! It was a great pleasure meeting Jessica and her family and their home is a beautiful place with loads of character. The attic where we stayed was spotless clean and the king-size bed superbly comfortable. The opulent breakfast Jessica prepared for us was a great & delicious surprise! Their house is pretty centrally located and it was easy to find as the pictures in Jessica`s profile reflect very well the reality. If we travel back up there (and we might because Muskoka foliage is incomparable), we will be happy to come back! Definitely recommend to everybody who is looking for a cozy & clean & welcoming & charming place in Huntsville.

  • Super accueil de Jessica et de son conjoint. Chambre spacieuse, propre et très bien décorée. Fantastique petit-déjeuner (digne d'un 5 étoiles). A recommander !

Jessica and her husband were really friendly. Beautiful and spacious bedroom. Everything was very clean. Fantastic breakfast. We definitely recommend this place!

  • We had a lovely mid-week stay with Jess, Gus, Sage, Dahlia, and Henry (the big pooch). Breakfast was an amazing selection of organic fruits, fresh bread and pastries from a local bakery, and delicious fried eggs. The attic space is a real oasis. The king bed is very comfortable, and the small fridge and selection of local coffee and teas allowed for wonderful lazy mornings.
The location is superb. A short walk and you are in downtown Huntsville right on the river. It was so convenient to leave our car parked and just stroll the charming town. Jessica even lent us their seasons pass for a day trip to Arrowhead Provincial Park. The fall leaves turning colour this time of year are truly spectacular.

We look forward to our next stay in Huntsville with Jess and family!

    Thanks so much

  • Nothing short of perfect. My girlfriend and I wanted something affordable, quiet, and comfortable for my first 1/2 Ironman experience at Deerhurst Resort. Jessica kept in touch with us leading up to our stay and answered our questions thoroughly and quickly. Jess and Gus are great people, very easy going and helpful. We could come and go as we pleased and we barely crossed paths. The loft was large for us, very comfortable and surprisingly very quiet. We never heard them or their kids or their beautiful Newfoundland dog, Henry. Jess and Gus went so far to make us happy and comfortable that they took Henry to their relative's house the night before my race to help ensure I would get a good night's sleep. We brought our own food for the most part, but Jess prepared a light breakfast for us each morning, continental style. It was nice and gave us a great opportunity to chat. The stairs to the loft are steep as they describe them to be, but they aren't as bad or as dangerous as I was expecting. I've seen steeper stairs for sure. The large bed was comfortable, mini fridge held all of our food easily and the loft has more than enough space for 2 people. The bathroom is one floor down and was always clean with plenty of hot water. They are very conveniently located in Huntsville and just a block or two from a great Italian restaurant we ate at after my race. If we go back to Huntsville, we will definitely be looking up Jess and Gus for accommodations. They are really great people!

  • We were 3 weeks in America and this was the best BnB place we stayed in! We were warmly welcomed by Gus and the dog Henry. We had the entire attic for ourselves, which was very clean and neatly arranged. We could choose on which time to eat breakfast and it was really great (even self-growed tomatoes were offered). Gus provided us with helpful information about the surrounding parks and restaurants, and even washed and folded our laundry! If we ever come again to Huntsville, then 100% to you guys! :)
