  • Fabulous location, spotless apartment, wonderful kitchen. Owners left detailed instructions and were very nice; answered all of our many questions about the area. Definitely recommend!

  • We had such an AWESOME stay at Kate's place. We booked her apt during a holiday stay in NYC and it was the perfect area to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the holiday season in Manhattan while feeling right at home in Brooklyn. Kate made wonderful recommendations on restaurants and the subway is just a few blocks away. Would absolutely stay here again sun or snow!

  • Kate's apartment is a comfortable place to stay. The Cobble Hill neighborhood is a great with all that you could want within a short easy stroll. Hard to go wrong here.

  • Overall we really enjoyed the apartment. It's spacious and had everything anyone could need for a short--or long--stay in Brooklyn. There's a great little grocery less than a block away, and the neighborhood was quiet with lots of friendly people. We would certainly rent Kate's place again.

  • We had a great time at Kate's apartment. It was clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very close to shops and public transport which assisted us greatly, as it was our first time to NYC and in particular this area.
It was lovely and quiet and had one of the best beds we have ever slept in. Perfect after our long flight from Australia.
The nearby shops were an added bonus as it meant we could buy our own food and eat in when we wanted. Plus Kate allowed us use of whatever food was in the house.
She was always available by phone or email despite being overseas.
Thank you Kate for allowing us to stay in your home.

  • We were very happy with our stay in Kate's apartment. The apartment is fine for a family of four, with two comfortable queen size beds. It is spacious, well organized and close to many restaurants and stores on Smith Street and Court Street. We drove from Montréal, and were able to leave the car almost in front of the house for most of our stay (moving it once, further away, for street cleaning). The apartment is a short walking distance from two subway stations (Bergen St. and Carroll St.) on the F line, which goes directly into Manhattan. It is in a nice, lively and family friendly neighbourhood. Kate was also an excellent host, answering rapidly and precisely any time we had a question.
One recommendation: We had our best meal in NY at the Osaka restaurant, on Court street, about two blocks away from the apartment.

  • We were delighted with our Christmas visit at Kate and Thomas' warm, spacious and comfortable home. Located just 3 blocks from our son's apartment it was perfect for us as well as conveniently close to shops and restaurants and especially Court St. Kate responded promptly to our e-mails and her neighborhood and household information were appreciated. And we loved having a Christmas tree to welcome us each time we returned to the apartment. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

  • We loved Kate's place and the time that we spent there. The neighborhood is also amazing. I'd definitely recommend Kate's place!

  • We would all HIGHLY recommend staying at Kate & Thomas' apartment. It was SO comfortable and close to SO many amenities! Restuarants, cafes, bars, cornner deli''s- it had EVERYTHING you need in walking distance. We had great access to the subway that took us directly into Times Square and other tourist spots. The ai-con and wifi were fantastic and we felt right at home.

Kate was great with communication and responded quickly to text messages. We got to meet Thomas who was also lovely. Check in & out was perfect too. We would definately stay here again!
