Prati is a famous neighbourhood (rione of Rome) in the centre of the city near the Vatican (email hidden)e beautiful Via Cola di Rienzo, one of the most famous streets in Rome, is consistently ranked among the most expensive shopping streets in the country. It is an affluent residential neighborhood that has the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica practically at its doorstep. Because of its close proximity to the Pope’s residence, it also happens to be one of the safest neighborhoods to be in. Aside from convenience, Prati is filled with great authentic Roman trattorie and great bars and pubs where one can go and listen to some live music.Whoever said that all of the good restaurants could only be found in the centro storico, was sadly mistaken. In the Prati neighborhood, there are a slew of good home cooked meals to be had at mom-and-pop like trattorie and pizzerie. A major hit among locals and tourists is the Pizzeria Isola della Pizza, or the La Zanzara and Il Sorpasso. The most popular live music place in the area and in Rome for that matter, is Alexanderplatz. It's actually the most famous jazz lounge and the locale manages to draw in some pretty big internationally known names on the jazz scene. Another lively place is Fonclea.
You can walk and reach every touristic sights such as Navona Square, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza del Popolo, and naturally Saint Peter's Basilica and Castel S.Angelo, but if you prefer the metro station Ottaviano is at only 5 min walk, and at the street many buses

Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement, avec des indications précieuses de restaurants et de directions. L'appartement est très calme tout en étant dans un quartier central et vivant. L'avantage principal est la localisation centrale et proche du métro.
Very functional apartment. There is a supermarket just 100meters away which has reasonable price. Near to almost every attractions. We walked when we exploring Roma. Sabrina is so kind to prepare milk when we arrived late at night. She is friendly, helpful and quickly to ask all our request. Highly recommend.
Sabrina was very welcoming, nice and helpful. She gave us all the good addresses for dinner, breakfast and for visits. The appartment was confortable and calm, and very well located, a few minutes away from the Vatican. I definitely recommend this place !
My family and I stayed in the apartment near St. Peter's Square and had a wonderful time! Sabrina was an excellent host--she always responded quickly to our inquiries, and she even let us check out later than normal because her schedule permitted us doing so and because it was more convenient for us. The apartment itself is great; the area is quiet and centrally located, and there is plenty of space in the master bathroom. The heating in the apartment was also fantastic, which is important when traveling in the winter. The apartment was cozy, the surrounding area is great (there are lots of places to eat, and there's even an indoor market nearby), and Sabrina was a wonderful host! My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Rome and meeting Sabrina, and we would certainly recommend this apartment to others.
Dear Sydney and family I had a great experience hosting you!
NIce and kind and it seemed like we knew each other for long time.
I'm very happy I had a part in your great holiday experience in Rome.
Thanks for your stay and for your nice words about me and my apartment.
So happy you appreciated my apartment and its location.
Have a Happy New Year!
Greetings from Rome!
It was very nice flat near to Vatican. We almost don't use any transport at all, because it was very easy to get anywhere from this flat.
Flat situated in not crowded street. It always quite. I liked it.
Also, you can find a lot of cafe in 5 minutes walk.
Owner was very nice and friendly. She suggested good places to visit.
Good flat for 4 people!
We have to leave the day we arrived on July 20, 2012 as the place didn't meet our expectations. Our main complain was the bathroom which was so dirty, it will not show in the pictures but when I took a good look when I got there there were black molds in the corners, it is also very small. I have to pay extra 30 Euro for the AC which was set up differently, we have to put the exhaust outside the window, the kitchen is very old and very tiny. It was really a BAD experience. The place is not comfortable for travelers.
The guest has been very problematic from the beginning. What she wrote about the apartment is totally not true.
They just didn't like anything but I don't know why as I only have positive reviews at this apartment's page as you can see.
They told me the beds were not comfortable but the point is they didn't sleep on these beds.
How can you say a bed is not comfortable if you haven't used them??
They told me the beds were not real beds. That's totally not true.
All the beds at the apartment are real beds, there are not sofa beds.
Therefore they didn't tell me anything more but then they wrote to the site airbnb telling the bathroom was not clean.
This was not totally true as well.
What they thought was dirt was simply the silicon inside the shower that was a little black, but this happen for the humidity inside the shower, it's not dirt!
Anyway if they had told me the truth I would have told to the worker that helps me with the apartments to put a new silicon into the shower and everything would have been fixed.
I'm totally open to suggestions from my guests and open to do everything to make them feel at home in my apartments and totally satisfied.
I think the guest didn't manage the situation in a correct and educated way.
My experience with this guest has been totally BAD.
July 10-15, 2012... We got into Rome and the hostess sent her young son to greet us and to allow us into the unit 5 hours earlier than expected. The location was fantastic for us with the Vatican 2 blocks away and the metro also 2 blocks away. Everything in the unit was adequate for use but very worn. The one air conditioner cooled the apartment nicely. While we had challenges with hot water for showering, the hostess sent a handyman to take care of the challenge. We had a good stay in Rome because we were sleeping well "at home". Thank you , Sabrina.
