Gotheburg has two airports - Landvetter and a City Airport (which is used primarily by the low cost airlines) From both airports you can get to the city by the airport bus called Flygbussarna (for more information including timetable and fare, please, visit (website hidden)) It takes approximately 40 minutes from Landvetter and 25 minutes from City Airport to get to Downtown Gothenburg.
If you are coming from Landvetter, you get off at Kungsportplatsen. Than cross the street towards Avalon hotel. continue walking having hotel on your right and a market place Saluhallen on your left. After cca 100m you reach Biopalatset on the left corner - that is the beginning of our street Sodra Larmgatan. Our house is located on the right side beside a coffee shop Espresso House.
If you are coming from City Airport you get off at Centralstation, take a tram No 3, 4 or 7 and get off at Kungspsortplatsen what is the second stop. Than from Kungsportplasten continue the same way as described in previous paragraph for travelers
coming from Landvetter airport.
Since the most of the attractions are in walking distance.there is no need to use a public transit when you live in our place. But in case you want or need to do so anyway than you will find a tram and bus stops almost at your fingertips (3 minutes walk)..
There is no parking place within our premises but for those guests who are coming by car or rent one here in Gothenburg there are few public pakring lots available close to our place including an indoor parking lot in the Gothenburg biggest shopping mall Nordstan. We will gladly provide you with the detail information when you get here.

Not the smoothest experience. In fact quite an upsetting start to my holiday because my itinerary hadn't been received, after I had attempted to send it 3 times over. Meaning I had to wait, with no working phone, for two hours, waiting for the host so I could check in. Once at the apartment I was told I was wrong in believing I was renting and entire room to myself, as they only have communal dorm like rooms. This was not clear in the listing. Then I was told to just ignore to front room, this space was off limits because the host "conducted their work there". Actually the host conducted their work In the only communal space useable to me, outside my dorm room door at the only accessible computer. The room was big, clean and beautiful, but as a single female traveling alone I would not have chosen to stay In a shared dorm. Luckily on my visit no one had booked the other beds but I would have had no choice but to share if someone had. If you want an upmarket backpackers experience this is your place; central, big, communal and beautifully decorated.
It was a pleasurable stay. Anita's house is located downtown in very livid area. Although I did not stay much time in the house she was always helpful with every issue. The room is relatively small but appropriate for a short stay. The house is fully equipped and coffee and tea is available for breakfast. Definitely recommended.
The accommodation was not as promised ... The rooms were in very bad condition, old, but especially dirty. In the bathroom you had to feel nauseated. The bed sheets were full of holes. For the rent of over € 100.00 I would have expected more.
We were very happy about the possibility to stay in the tasteful historic style apartment of Anita and Robert in the heart of Gothenburg. After a short introduction into practical matters (internet, shower, kitchen etc.) we headed for the nearby city centre and embarkation point for ferries.
Anita and Robert will give you all the tipps and advices you need for a pleasant stay in this beautiful and interesting city. We can totally recommend this place for your Gothenburg trip!
Great room, central location in Gothenburg. It is a very big flat with many rooms and access to shared kitchen & bathroom. Worth to note is that there is only one small bathroom that is shared among all the rooms/guests. There is an living room area in the flat which is private and not for guests. No breakfast so can be confusing with the name. For the price and location this is an great choice when traveling!
