This was my first time using airbnb. My girlfriend and I were absolutely blown away by this place! Bill from start to finish was great, and this place def was better than what we pictured in our head. Thanks so much Bill.
Bill was a gracious host. The place was easy to find and check in was seamless. It was nice and comfortable and the location was just fantastic! It's within walkable distance to restaurants, park and for me (my office building). You don't need a car to stay at Bill's, you can walk to EVERYTHING! We loved the privacy and the host didn’t hover over us ; which was refreshing. I highly recommend it!
Very large place, with a good location in Atlanta if you want to visit the city. Bill was available for our inquiries. I would recommend staying at Bill's place.
Enjoyed our stay in bills apartment. It's about 5 minute walk to good bars and resturants , about 20+ minute walk to downtown and other parts of midtown but we took uber on most occasions. Communication with bill was prompt , we initally had a problem
With the toilet but he sent someone around to fix it asap. The apartment is VERY spacious, if your looking for something cosier and with a more homely feel i would probably say choose somewhere else, the tv was out of order during our stay, which in all honesty made the place seem a little empty and silent due to the size of the place but the decor is lovely and nice touches like ping pong table and weights. Wifi was difficult to get a good signal. The neighbour hood was delightful, we felt safe at all times both in the day and evening. Overall had a nice stay and would reccomend to family and friends.
Bill was a wonderful host and the space is perfect! He is quick to communicate and made sure we were comfortable and happy. The house and backyard are beautiful and in an amazing neighborhood and location to explore Atlanta. Bill let us use his grill upon request and was overall more than accommodating to our needs. Bill also let us utilize the three bikes he had and we had an awesome time exploring the city on bike. We had a great stay in Atlanta because of Bill. You can tell Bill is experienced with short-term rentals and has it down!
The one thing I would like to let other renters know, was that we were not expecting the apartment to be the 'basement'/bottom floor of the main house. There is a private door (not the once pictured on the cover page) but again, his living space is directly above which leads to some challenges. I thought it would be a separate apartment in the backyard/garage something similar because it is described as the 'back'. It is loud in the mornings with Bill's family and animals conducting normal business (although he is extremely considerate), and it did wake us up every morning. We also were too loud for his family one night having dinner and visiting/laughing at the dinner table so it was a bit of a challenge. Bill does thoroughly explain 'quiet hours' and asks that no entertaining be done and now I 100% understand why and it was my fault that I didn't take that to mean actual 'quiet' - no talking even - hours so I think renters should be aware. Bill was incredibly generous to us in this regard and let us visit well beyond his 'quiet' hours and communicated openly with us when we were too loud.
I highly recommend Bill's apartment and exploring his area of Atlanta!
Visited our son in Atlanta over Easter weekend, so stayed here for 4 days. Worked out nicely as our son's apartment was only a mile away. Place was very clean and plenty spacious for my husband, our daughter, and myself. Bed was very comfortable! Enjoyed looking at the map with push pins indicating where visitors hailed from, as well as playing some rounds of ping pong. We were out sightseeing most of the time that we were in Atlanta, so never got the opportunity to meet Bill. Parking on the street was a bit congested, buy we had a small car, so never was a major problem.
