Midtown Atlanta is an exciting and lively area. Shops, restaurants, laundry, hair salon are very close as well. The house is very safe, private, and quiet. Conveniently located near The Americas Mart, The Fox Theater, Tabernacle, Phillips Arena, The belt line, Whole Foods, Little 5 points, Va. Highland, and so much more...I'm currently experiencing a map locations pin point. Airbnb is working on it so feel free to contact me before booking.
Marta Bus stop is 2 blocks away. New Beltline paved outdoor trail; A bicycle is available on request. If you have a automobile, street parking is free and with no restrictions. (the airbnb map says that I am located in downtown and I tried to fix that but apparently airbnb could not adjust.) You can contact me for address if that is a concern)
I would be happy to send you a customized recommendation list upon your request.

Bill's garden apartment was great! He was very communicative ahead of my arrival and during my stay, providing all the information I needed to have a pleasant stay in Atlanta. The apartment is very spacious and very clean - everything in the description and more. The bedroom and bed were also very comfortable and quiet. It's in a great location in the Midtown area - within walking distance of downtown and Piedmont Park and about a mile from the nearest Marta station. All in all, a great place to stay!
We had a great time in Atlanta staying in Bill's apartment. It was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed (and more) including a big closet, bathroom and even exercise equipment. Since it is a "guest" apartment it did not feel like living in someone's home but more like staying at a hotel (Bill had even put out water and snacks for us).
The location was very convenient. We walked from the MARTA station (North Avenue) with our bags when we came and visited most areas of the city including West side, Downtown and Little Five Points either walking or using public transportation. Bill also offered to lend us bikes.
All in all a great place to stay and a very friendly host.
We spent almost a whole week here and had a great time. Bill is a very accommodating and flexible host. The apartment is walking distance to the MARTA and in a great neighborhood. We would recommend this to anyone staying in Atlanta.
The first thing I should mention is that this property is not where it says it is on the airbnb map. I'm not sure if bill is aware of this. I booked this property purely because it looked to be near the fox theatre were I was working. It was actually over a mile away and was about a 15-20 minute walk, which wasn't great for me. The apartment is clean but doesn't really have the amenities you need. You'll basically be staying in someone's basement. It would be fine for a quick visit but there's no oven or stove or kettle (if your British), no television and there strangely no bowls. I'm sure my host would have supplied some if I had asked.
My first time on Airbnb and it leads me to my friend I hadn't seen in years. I had been to Bill's home before so I did have a slight advantage on my first booking. Bill has been in the fashion industry for years so of course he has impeccable taste and his home reflects that. The location is also just as good or better than any Midtown hotel. If your lucky and get stuck here during a snow storm like we did you just might get a nice meal, a cold beer, and a trip down the hills of Piedmont Park on garbage bags. Thanks again Bill for the amazing hospitality!
Bill was a fantastic host. I really felt like I am staying with relatives. He always checked if I need anything, so quick on responding questions and even offered me food during the snow storm in case I do not have any.
The place was really great. I felt like home from day one and it is truly at a great location. I would highly recommend everybody to stay at this place, I promise you won't regret it!
Huge thanks to Bill for everything and whoever is reading this note, I honestly think you won't find a better host and place than this one!!!
My girlfriend and I had a great time in Atlanta. Bill is definitely a very accessible host, and there to help you on your visit if necessary. Apartment is well kept and comfortable. Location is very central to everything. Would recommend to stay here.
Bill's apartment is simply wonderful! And Bill is a great host. I simply loved my time in his place. The apartment is very comfortable and new. It is the lower level in a modern house, recently renovated by a nice architect. I really like the style. The interiors are nice, the place modern and spacious. Plenty of space, a nice bedroom and large and modern bathroom, very huge living room with ping pong table, pool, large table + benches, couch. Very comfy and nice. I had a very nice interaction with Bill, who is a successful and sociable fashion designer. We visited his boutique store and attended a happy hour with him. Very friendly people working with him and nice cloths. I ended up buying some items designed by him! Very positive experience, and we will remain in touch in the future!
Bill's house is convenietly located in the heart of a quiet residential area of Midtown. Walking distance to great restaurants, Botanical Gardens, famous Fox Theatre, Margaret Mitchell's house and MARTA. Check in was very easy as Bill left for us the kew in a lock - we arrived very late. The place is very spacious and welcoming. Nice art, animal skins on the floor and a full size ping-pong table. Bill put some books for us and gave us an access to his Netflix. He also recommended a nice restaurant for dinner. The communication with Bill was easy and pleasant. We wish we could stay longer to enjoy his beautiful garden.
