Experience tiny luxury in our adorable shipping container home just 6 miles south of Astoria, OR. Enjoy 320 square feet of indoor space with full kitchen/laundry/bath & a 900 square foot wrap-around covered deck. Think Boxcar Children all grown up! Our drive-thru coffee shop turned tiny house from Rt. 66 now sits on a private, partially wooded 2.5 acre property with a meandering creek. This is the perfect hideaway for singles, couples, or families after a day exploring the Pacific Northwest.

The space
Our tiny house boasts a queen size American Leather comfort sleeper sofa (no bars, no springs, no sagging) that will comfortably accommodate 2 adults. We allow guests to bring their own personal tent in order to achieve maximum occupancy of 5 guests. We can provide extra sleeping mats & pillows to accommodate maximum occupancy.

There is a full kitchen in the house and a breakfast bar that seats two people. The outdoor dining area can accommodate up to 8 people and the home is equipped with service for 8.

We have a Keurig coffee maker and a french press onsite. Guests should provide their own pods or coffee grounds based on their preference.

Our flat-screen 'smart' TV is hooked up to cable and wifi.

The outdoor fire pit is just steps from the outdoor covered dining area. Guests should provide their own firewood and marshmallows for roasting. Firewood is sold at many of the grocery stores in the Astoria/Warrenton area as well as from several private vendors along the road leading to Ft. Stevens State Park.

There is space to park your RV. However, there are no RV hookups available on the property. The nearest RV dump site is in Astoria.

I love to travel! However, my husband and I are at a point in our careers where it is difficult for us to find the time to leave Astoria for any length of time. Therefore, when we made the decision to convert our drive-thru coffee shop into a tiny house, I tried to create a space where our family could get away from the demands of our daily lives and relax at a moments notice. I enjoy the outdoors but I do not enjoy 'roughing it'. I hope you will find our repurposed shipping container 'Java Stop' is the perfect place one can have a quintessential Pacific Northwest experience (i.e. sitting around an open fire pit while coyotes howl in the distance) with all of the amenities of home.
