Interaction with Guests
We respect the guest's privacy. If interested, I like to do a tour through Frankfurt by bicycle or on foot.
There are many restaurants, cafes, a theatre and a cinema as well as take-away places in the immediate vicinity. Parking is usually available in the vicinity, but due to the central location, a car will hardly be required.
The central shopping area is 10 minutes on foot or 2 underground stops away. The underground station as well as a bus stop is just round the corner. The nightbus stops close by, but it is easier to walk at night.
With public transport it takes 18 minutes to the fair (€2,75) or 25 minutes to the airport (€4,55).
Smoking only on balcony/garden.
Very nice chap. Although he should be away most of the time, in the weekend he showed me around the city and gave me a pair of good advises on places to visit.
Peter and Norbert were spectacular hosts, and became good friends of mine in my short 6 day accommodation. This was my first and best airbnb experience and I felt really more comfortable than it could be in a hotel. They helped me alot to discover the Luminale (light events) locations in the city :). Their house will be definitely the first place that I want to stay on my next journey to Frankfurt. The room is very bright and clean and at the same time located in a very central street in Frankfurt. The train station is 2 minutes far. I especially loved to chat with them at nights while having the beautiful filter coffee that they served to me.
Thanks them alot for their great hospitality. Definitely this is the best airbnb place you will love to stay in Frankfurt...
I stayed for 6 weeks with Peter and Norbert while on a short term assignment in Frankfurt and I have only good things to say about this rental. The room was clean and of a sufficient size for my needs, and it has everything a traveler or short/medium term visitor can ask for, e.g. heating, fresh sheets and towels as often as I liked, a hair dryer, hot bath/shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment itself is very conveniently located, being just around the corner from the U-Bahn station and two stops from the interchange. Most of the city is accessible within 45 min door to door.
However, the best thing about the rental ought to be the hosts. Peter and Norbert were excellent hosts. They had plenty of good tips about what to do and where to dine in Frankfurt, other German cities, and being very well travelled, they had tips on pretty much any place in Europe. (Peter also offered a good walking tour of the city, and a bike tour which I heard was really popular but unfortunately didn’t get to experience.) They were considerate and welcoming in sharing the apartment with me, and despite being a visitor, I felt I was treated like family. I will not hesitate to return the next time I am in Frankfurt, and can only recommend it to everyone else.
Peter and his partner are wonderful. I stayed for two nights and they were wonderful hosts. One of the best Airbnb rooms I've ever stayed in. It is centrally located. For some who are really used to travelling in Europe, side streets are easy to find. But for those who are from Canada and US, be prepared for a 10 minute walk from the S-bahn. Seriously, people walk everywhere in Europe!! This location will provide you all the sightseeing and tourist spot. Also the Saturday market is great to eat and drink, is by this wonderful place. Thank you Peter.
