::Ready to explore Warwick?
Nestled in the heart of the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area between the Catskill Mountains and New York City, Warwick is a quaint farm and trading town dating back to the 1700s.
Located 3 miles west of Warwick at the end of the winding Iron Mountain Road directly adjacent (technically, the entrance is 300' from the driveway) to 16,000 acre Wayayanda State Park.
A fire ring (along with plenty of wood and stump seats) is located on a small granite hill in the southeast corner of the property and is available for your use. Also available is a 4 person hot tub built into the back fieldstone patio.
Relax on the Mountain - elevated 1000' - sitting atop the 3 acre property, located on a ridge running east-west (affording amazing morning and evening light). The property is a mix of mature hardwood trees and stone walls.
A wildlife trail runs along the eastern border of the property and is easily viewed from the comfort of the guesthouse. We frequently see groups of wild turkeys, families of deer, numerous song birds and woodpeckers, and even an occasional black bear (don't worry they're shy and are scared of people).
Spring time attractions include: hiking in Wawayanda State Park, 300' south of our driveway; playing with chickens and goats while enjoying lunch and a cold one and listening to live music one at Pennings nursery (5 mins); Warwick Valley Winery (10 mins); Antiquing (there's a great spot at the bottom of Iron Mtn Road).
...AND the Appalachian Trail is only a one mile hike out the front door!
::Hungry? Our favorite restaurant, The Grange, serves Michelin quality farm to table cuisine and is located 20 minute walk (1.25 miles) downhill from the property. If you're looking for more selection there are over 25 restaurants and bars in Warwick (10 minute drive).
::Want to be pampered? The full service Mineral Springs Spa is located 15 minutes west of the property. It offers massage packages, a gym, swimming pool, daycare, and restaurant.
We are looking forward to meeting you!

Kira's property was beautiful inside and out. She was an excellent host. The studio, small kitchen and bedroom were so comfortable and inviting. There was even champagne waiting for us! My husband and I loved waking up early to see bears, deer and rabbits in the backyard. What a dream home! Would definitely stay there again if in the Warwick/Milford area.
Wonderful welcoming and stunning peaceful setting - our stay was truly special.
The host canceled this reservation 13 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Kira and Ezra's guesthouse is an absolute gem! We had a great time and they were truly amazing hosts. Once we arrived there was champagne and smores waiting for us! The place is clean and really nicely furnished with tons of natural light. This was our first time in Warwick and were super impressed by the friendly locals and all the natural surroundings. We hope to plan another weekend at their place in the coming months!
The home and the location are absolutely stunning! We were so impressed with how close to Wawayanda State Park the home is. My partner and I took a beautiful hike on the Appalachian trail in freshly fallen snow, we got to see wild turkeys & deers. Kira & Ezra made us feel welcomed; they respected our privacy but made themselves available if we needed them. The hot tub in the woods was definitely a favorite.
We absolutely loved our stay - our son didn't want to leave! Kira was an impeccable host and we especially appreciated her quick responses to questions, and special touches (like Bubbly, dinosaurs to surprise our 4yo, use of a sled, and s'mores). They were friendly and available, yet practically hidden from sight even though the house was technically attached. The house is beautifully designed and filled with little touches like: Strategically placed and interesting books, orange hunting caps, nice shampoo, board games, and Cup o Soups/Kind bars. Would highly recommend for a country weekend, or ski weekend (as we did). Perfect for a small family as the woods are fun to explore (with lots of animal tracks), has a cozy fireplace, and generally felt like a retreat.
Kira's house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Open, modern and clean, the house was comfortable for our party of three. Warwick is a small town, but the house was close to plenty of conveniences (restaurants, a grocery store, main street, ski slopes, etc.). The kitchen wasn't much of an issue, but we ate out for most meals. Kira lives next door, but we only saw her once when she stopped by to say hello. The hot tub and fireplace were definitely the highlights!
