Jeff was a great host who checked in on us everyday via email without being intrusive. The apartment had everything we needed including tea and coffee. Jeff asked us beforehand if we needed anything for the kitchen or wanted something special. We were surprised to find out we had our own washer and dryer too.
We had a great experience and would rent from Jeff again happily.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Jeff was a gracious host. Very focused on my experience. This was my first airbnb and it was better than any hotel experience. I felt safe and at home. Place was super clean and very comforting. It was like I never left home.
The apartment was very comfortable. We arrived and Jeff took the time to help us get settled in; he'd stocked the kitchen with every consideration and we felt very welcome. The location is great if you have a car- and the woodsy setting was lovely in New England autumn. Highly recommended! A great apartment!
The apartment in Wayland, MA was perfect for our needs. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Jeff was prompt in responding to our inquiry, in meeting me at the property and walking us through the apartment. He even checked in with us to ensure everything was fine. It is a lovely space with a separate living and sleeping area. The location is great and even has outdoor space. I would highly recommend staying there and will return if we have a need to be in the area.
Jeff's in-law's apartment is a true gem! Much better than the pictures. Is a great space, the bedroom is downstairs, and the bed, which I thought at first may be small (full size) was perfect and very comfortable. It was my husband's first airbnb experience and he is a hotel lover, I finally convinced him this was a much better option. He baptized Jeff's apartment as our little "casita", I think he is already missing it.
The living room has a lovely traditional decoration with a very comfortable sofa and you feel right at home. Jeff is super attentive, from making it so easy to book, to leaving breakfast in the fridge for the next morning. The neighborhood is an affluent suburban town, and the house is located next to a woods walking trail, and a 10 min drive to a shopping center and few restaurants. For those commuting to Boston/Cambridge, the best thing is to drive. Is only 30 miles, but in the morning traffic could easily be an hour and 15 mins, in the evening with no traffic could be a short 30 min drive. If you can afford to leave at 8am is better than leaving at 7am. The house is comfortable, with a private parking spot, and is so well priced, you will not find anything better than this. We had a great time here. Bottom line, go ahead and book it!
I am relocating to the Boston area in a couple of months and needed a place to stay for almost a week during a fact-finding/apartment hunting trip. Given the length of my stay, and my full itinerary, I wanted a full apartment/home with a kitchen, and a hassle-free parking situation. Jeff's apartment fit the bill perfectly. It's a bit far from the major sites of the city, but for me that wasn't a priority, and the apartment is right off the pike so those are easily accessible for those who are interested and have a car. The area is a safe, quiet family-oriented suburban area, and there is a small shopping center with a grocery store, drug store, Starbucks less than 5 minutes away.
The unit was exactly as advertised; nicely furnished, clean, with cable TV, wireless and a separate entrance and patio. Although there is no working stove, the kitchen has a full refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, dishes and was stocked with coffee and tea, so was adequate for a few days if not ideal. Jeff and his family were extremely welcoming and accommodating, and checked in periodically to see how my stay was going, but I had complete privacy after he showed me around.
In general, this would be a great place to stay for someone looking for hassle-free, spacious accommodations and doesn't mind driving.
