This is a 19th century apartment with high ceilings and a lot of space to relax (92sqm) after a long day in Prague. Also, there is a beautiful balcony that you may use for breakfast or just to sit and relax.

Clienlines is my nr. 1 priority, therefore, we clean pillows, blankets but even mattresses and sofas regularly with a special water-cleaning hoover. Upon request, I provide anti-elergic pillows for people sensitive to feathers. Otherwise, the pillows and blankets are filled with duck feather, no polyester.
House maid and cleaning upon request. Regular changing of towels and sheets + linens
PICK UP ON REQUEST:
I have my own driver, Mila, who is always happy to pick you up and drop you off at the Airport. The price from the airport to the apartment is 25USD and from the apartment to the airport 25USD.
Please note that the regular fee for Czechs is about 50USD and all the taxi driver rip off tourists, so I strongly discourage you from taking a regular (even an official) taxi.
CAUTION: due to an increase of complains in Prague, I strongly discourage you from using taxies in Prague, unless you negotiate the price in advance. Please be advised that taxi rates within the center should not exceed 9USD. If you need a taxi, please text me and I will order it for you.
CAUTION2: in Prague, there are many money exchange companies that rip tourists off. I suggest you either take money from ATM or use XCHANGE in Jindrisska street, Prague 1 (very close to Wenceslas` Square).
I believe that behind every successful project, there is an idea. The reason why I am renting my apartment via airbnb is to make guests` stays in Prague memorable in the best possible way. I am always happy to help with travel plans, give directions but most importantly, to provide pieces of advice that will safe time going to places which are not really worth it. People who know Prague well will tell you that Prague is about hidden small places with unique atmosphere. Those places are hard to find and they are not included in most of the guide books.
Where do the money go? I am the owner of a mid-size company in Prague and that involves a lot of traveling (mostly California, Miami, New York) that is my full time job. I do airbnb for a different purpose and the ENTIRE amount of the money that I receive is used to preserve this beautiful building. Thanks to your support, I already reconstructed all statues and decorations in the corridors of the building, isolated the cellar from wet ground, reconstructed the roof of the building (when I bought the apartment, nobody in the building paid any attention to the corridors) We are also building an elevator, especially to allow older people to use the building as well. By April 2015, I will have built the elevator to every floor, and all corridors reconstructed just as they were in the times the house was built. In 2015, I hope to take care of the beautiful yard which is a bit neglected today and turn it into a small oasis in the heart of Prague. Whatever was achieved was due to your help and support.
The apartment has a fully-fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, utensils, etc.), separate toilet, separate closet (wardrobe) and the following amenities:
- cable TV
- High speed Wi-Fi internet
- Hair Dryer
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Coffee Maker
- Electric Kettle
- Several types of tea (Earl Grey, Lipton, Green Tea & Fruit Tea)
- Instant Coffee, several types of coffee
- Sugar, Salt & Pepper
- Iron and Ironing Board
- Toilet Paper and Paper Towel
- Washer & Dryer
- Extra bed linens (Pillow Cases, Bed Sheets & Comforter Cover)
- Clean towels (Each guest will receive 1 set of bath and hand towel. If a guest is staying longer than 5 nights, he/she will be provided with a new towel set every 6th night) Breakfast upon request.
Feel free to help yourself with what's available in the kitchen. Some items may vary from time to time. If you replenish what you consume, it is appreciated but if you don't, it is fine.
Whether you are coming to Prague from the airport or from the train station, the location is just perfect. I include the directions in the confirmation of the reservations.
This apartment is located in the proximity of the National Museum. This is the most wanted area in Prague, best know for it`s famous residents. There are many painters and writers, who live permanently nearby - they have often been inspired by events and conversations taking place in the park next to my apartment and immortalized the park in their fiction.
Vinohrady is very popular because this historical area does not get as much noise as Prague 1 (which is 2 blocks away) and other noisy locations, yet, it is an area of the best restaurants, clubs and shops in Prague.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the elevator is not yet in service so the place is not suitable for people with disabilities and walking difficulties.

This was a wonderful stay for us. The apartment is even better than it appears online--quiet, spacious, very high ceilings, thoughtfully and tastefully renovated and decorated. It has everything we could have wanted--clean, fresh and beautifully presented, with a well stocked kitchen we used quite a bit.The bed was very comfortable, with good reading lamps. We enjoyed the neighborhood and were so glad not to be in a heavily tourist area, though it was easy and quick to get to everything. Sarah was helpful and delightful. The ride she offered to arrange from the airport was a great idea, highly recommended unless you already know Prague. We acted on many of Sarah's suggestions for lesser-known ways to appreciate Prague, and our experience was much richer as a result.
We (3 men) stayed in the apartment from Friday (April 3th, 2015) till Monday (April 6th) and it was very pleasant stay. Before we went to Praque we had good contact with Sarah and Andreas. Every time we asked a question we got a quick reply. They arranged a cheap transfer from the airport to the apartment (20 euro) and the apartment itself is in a nice and quiet neighborhood with a big park at one side and a police station, supermarket (Albert) and Metrostation at the other side (just a few minutes walk). From the Metrostation its just 1 or 2 stops and you are right in the center. You could even walk. It’s just a 5-10 minutes walk to Wenceslas Square and 20 minutes to the astronomical clock. The apartment is big. There is a double bed in one room and a sleeping couch (also double) in the living. So, if you are with more than 2 people, you have to sleep next to each other in one bed.
There is also a separate kitchen with a nice table to chill on. The kitchen has everything you need, like a coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster et cetera. The apartment is on the 4th or 5th floor, so it’s a bit a workout with all the steps but totally worth it.
When we arrived at the airport we got a message from Sarah that our taxi driver was almost there. She speaks perfect English so communication is easy. And when we went back to the airport she arranged another taxi (again just 20 euro). And, we had to check out at 11.00 AM, but we could leave our luggage in the corridor and could keep the keys till 3.00 PM. That was super!
I definitely recommend this apartment and Sarah and Andreas are very kind and good people who will give you a pleasant stay in a very beautiful city.
One night might be far too short for any trip, but the stay at Sarah's and Andreas' lovely apartment made it a great one. Besides the great location (beautiful and lively 19th century neighborhood, very close to Václava namesti, old town by foot or close metro Muzeum), the well equipped apartment is as comfortable and cozy as it can be. As the both had used it before as there personal apartment, it feels like home immediately.
Sarah's recommendations for great food nearby and spread around Prague away from the tourist mainstream made the experience a very local and delicious one. She had also kindly arranged for a very friendly and reasonably priced transport from the airport.
Overall, we'd love to stay at the place again, be it with friends or family.
The appartment itself is just as described and seen in the pictures. It is big and cosy with everything you need. It has huge windows which I personally really enjoy. It is also at a convenient location. The owners are incredibly helpful and nice. They made everything so simple and easy for us. Couldn't ask for more.
Beautiful light and cozy apartment in a wonderful part of the city, close to the amazing park. Kind owners who definitely love their house. That was our first experience of booking on airbnb and we are more than fully satisfied.
I would highly recommend this apartment. It is every bit as beautiful as the photos. The location is fantastic, lovely quiet leafy streets with great restaurants and cafes nearby and within walking distance of all the sights. Sarah was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit again!

Hello, I am Andreas.
I lived in this apartment during my studies. Later, we moved further away from the center and used the apartment to host our family and friends. In 2011, we decided to open the apartment to travelers all around the world so as we could share the unique atmosphere, location and comfort of our place.
Apart from that, I thought my guest may become part of an interesting project. You will find more about the project in the description of my listing.
I work as an interior designer, designing furniture made of marble, glass, wood and stone, cooperating with local carpenters, glass-makers and blacksmiths.
You are welcome to stay in my apartment when you visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Prague.
