The good: Great communication. Kristin left town, but her babysitter and 5 yo son met us early so we could drop bags and go to a funeral (the reason our one-night stay). We found free, street parking on the block. The A/C was on 70; plenty of towels; very private. Comfortable bed…

Response from Kristin:
I am very sorry you were unhappy with your stay here. In terms of NYC apts this one is 97% more quiet than anywhere else you will stay. I cannot control the activities of the surrounding businesses and the synagogue behind my building- 2 doors down- had a party (with a permit) the night of your stay, which I found out about in response to my filing a noise complaint. While I would normally not respond to a bad review like this I feel compelled to do so because you are commenting on things you have no real knowledge about. Your review mentions that my space is unsafe for children and is not family friendly. Yet you rented this space as 2 adults so how would you know what the space is like for children? I live downstairs with a toddler so it's obviously family friendly... I don't see any mention of the babyproofed kitchen and outlets through-out the house. There are certainly a number of collectibles -however, when a child is present these items are removed and placed in a closet. It takes all of 10 minutes for me to box everything unsafe up (which I have done on at least 3 different occasions) and at least one of these families left a GLOWING review. There mere fact that you are rating me for something that doesn't apply to you and you have NO knowledge of the acommodations that are made for families shows me you just want to complain. You mention money twice in this review and it seems clear that when the noise happened you expected a discount and are upset that you did not get one. I cannot control what happens outside this building. Much like the Hyatt can't control a street festival that happens outside your room. I quite doubt they would give you a discount for something outside of their control. You mention cleaning but I personally cleaned your room. And you are the only person in 20 reviews to mention an unclean space when most say the space is glistening. You also fail to take into account that $50 here in NYC does not even get 2 hours of cleaning. I understand $50 gets you a lot more in other cities but this is New York City - cleaning ladies charge $25-35 an hour. You rented 950 square feet. It costs me $120 to do a basic cleaning of that floor - not including washing the bedding. You asked to check- in 5 hours early which I worked with you on. I didn't ask you to pay more. Then when you were 90 minutes late for your check-in and my babysitter had to re-adjust her whole day and my son missed his school carnival - you didn't hear me complaining or leaving you a bad review. I'm just not that petty. But again- you just want to complain. You make mention of me asking you to be discreet and not mention AirBNB and act like you had to sneak past the doorman but you arrived and left HOURS before he comes on duty over the weekend. You are just looking to be negative and making things up- and that's uncalled for. The only part of your review that was accurate was the fact that the space contains alot of men's clothes and I have updated the listing to show that. In terms of teh artwork here it is valued at over $1 million. It's called art. It might not be your taste but it is far from lewd. Next time you leave a review try to speak on things that apply to you and stop making assumptions like you know what it will be like for families or other people. Many people come here and are THRILLED with the central air, impressive artwork, luxury marble and appliances- this is a $5 million dollar condo.

Kristin's place was excellent! The building was beautiful, the doormen & super were very accomodating, and the place itself was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay there. Kristin was very communicative and always there to answer questions or offer help. I would recommend this…
