Quiet time at 10 pm, but we roll with the situation
Trish was a great hostess, accomodating my request at the last minute. The bedroom was quiet with a private bathroom. She was very friendly and we had a very nuce chat. There were drinks in the frig. I would highly recommend visiting!
Trish is a great host and was welcoming me at her front door, although I booked at short notice and arrived around midnight. The communication previous to my arrival was prompt and ver friendly (first thing was that we sat down, had a be and talked:-).
The lounge of her 'bungalow' is filled with musical instruments which herself and guests are playing regularly, but unfortunately I missed a 'jam' with her friends, but at least I had the pleasure to hear her sing when I got home one night:-).
The guest room with en-suite large shower room at the back of the house was exactly what I needed, i.e. a quiet neighborhood, a very comfy bed, a fridge with some cold beer, a TV to wind down and a great large open rain shower to get going in the morning or wash off the remains from the day on the beach in the eve.
The only thing I felt was that the room was a bit dark, but I used the room anyway only during the night.
Trish also provide coffee, cereals, toast, fruit etc. for breakfast which was really nice. One last thing to know is that Trish also has 2 dogs and a cat which each has his/her own story.
Overall I had a very pleasant experience.
Oui à tout
Marion! I'm so sorry that you didn't get to see the launch..(sad face) ..again, I wish that you had more time here, it was such a special time to spend with you..I hope that you get to see and photograph everything that you came to Florida to do! I went after work that day to the studio to play music and today I am on the couch with tiredness! BUT, prolly not as tired as YOU with all of your driving! Bring home many happy memories of your visit with us and FLA!
Trish welcomed us with open arms! Prior to our arrival she let us know of great attractions in her area. Her house was very welcoming and the room and ensuite were private and clean. Originaly planned to stay in our room and sleep, but Trish' vibe inspired us to spend the evening socializing on her back porch with her and friends ..and the guitar! What a great evening it turned out to be! We would definitely stay with Trish again.
Thanks so much for a great stay on Merritt Island Trish! We appreciated the recommendation for Sunday on where to watch our local college basketball game, hear some great music, meet some locals and enjoy a free meal. Perfect day! Accommodations and neighborhood were as described. The house was comfy and the family was pleasant and we enjoyed several conversations during our stay. Too bad we didn't have the bagpipes and didn't get to join in a jam session. Maybe next time! Thanks again for the goodies ( ticket, pin, keychain, and paper model). This was our first airbnb experience and you made it a positive one. Enjoy your next trip and be safe when travelling. Thanks again, Meg and Russ

Hi there, we're very casual here. Work in the day at KSCVC, play music at night...may have the occasional jam, but if you are guesting with me, if you want a quiet nite..then that's okay...there is a mini-poo that we recently rescued..(not yappy, but EXTREMELY friendly)...my old girl Angel ..AND a cat that showed up on the porch...once a week I cook a Filipino dinner..you are welcomed to enjoy! Breakfast fixings will be here for you, along with coffee and tea...bbq, tv and smoking on back porch..welcome to use hot tub..(if it's working..lol)..no pic of the porch as my daughter has it filled with stuff to have a tag sale! but it's really perfect for relaxing after a day of touring..you have a mini-fridge in your room..and access to the kitchen...use anything that's there... We really do live in the house! (Please join us/me in the main living area)..Meaning it will be in various states of orderliness..depending on my work schedule...whew!! If you want "hotel" perfectness, then this is not the place for you...I suggest the Radisson in Cape Canaveral...or the Hilton in Cocoa Beach...I have another small room, hence the 3 guests...or possibly 4..Older children will be considered, but, again, the activity involved with youngsters won't gel with this household..there are board games and a wii for the older kids. .I hope that you enjoy your stay with me and on the beautiful Space Coast. And just so you know..we really enjoy meeting people from around the world and the states!! There are so many options out there...We consider it an honor when you choose to stay with us! I have a disabled brother who I help support..the rents that I get go to (email hidden) help him have a better life..and I thank you!!
