The stay at Warren's place made our visit to the big island even more spectacular. Extremely comfortable, tasteful, beautiful space, with spectacular views. Grab this place if you can!

Beautiful, updated house with breathtaking view of ocean. Accommodation was so pleasing, we were content to spend extra time there. Martha was a very informative and helpful caretaker. A great getaway location.

It is a wonderful place to live if you wanna play in Kona side. The house hides in a quiet farm. You can hear frogs during night which makes you feel like away from the city. Everything in the room is clean and tidy, and you can have all you need in this island. I would definitely recommend this place to other people.

My family of four stayed in Warren's house for three nights. It's very beautifully decorated, spacious and confortable, exactly like what you see in the pictures. Elaine is very responsible and kind, she shared a lot of useful information with us after she knew our itinerary. We all enjoyed our stay.

Warren's place is breathtakingly beautiful, private, peaceful, and serene. We stayed here with our three children, ages 12, 14, and 20. There was plenty of space and we all loved falling asleep to the chorus of tropical frogs and birds and waking up to the beautiful ocean views. The house is surrounded by lush green ferns, trees, and coffee plants. The open-air design kept a gentle breeze circulating through the house and the temperature was absolutely perfect. Elaine was warm, welcoming, and helpful during our stay. Thank you both for your hospitality!

The house was better than described; the pictures do not do it justice. It is very nicely decorated. Extremely well-equipped kitchen. Fantastic views of the ocean from the master bedroom, living room, dining room, and lanai. You can buy fresh eggs and coffee which are both from the farm. This is a really good place to watch the sunset. There is a general store about 1/4 of a mile away for a good lunch, beer, wine, and basic supplies. There is plenty of space at the house to let your family or group spread out and relax. This is an open-air house without AC. It gets a little muggy, but the powerful fans kept us cool in the living room and master bedroom. The kids said that the second bedroom got a little warm. The frogs, chickens, and roosters get a bit noisy which may keep you up if you're a light sleeper. We loved staying here and didn't want to leave.

Beautiful decor, sizeable home with an interesting layout that lends for a lot of privacy and plenty of room for 2 of us and would be also excellent for 4. Very zen, furniture is nice and comfortable, not that wicker hawaii stuff but real furniture that is comfy to sit on.... beds were very comfortable. No microwave but otherwise has everything you need and a very large kitchen. We don't cook much on vacation but if you do, the kitchen is very well stocked with all the pots and pans and such you will need. Great view of the ocean, both bedrooms are nice but of course the master is fantastic! The photos of the 2nd guestroom actually don't do it justice- it has a nice high vaulted ceiling and is bigger than it looks in the photos. We've stayed at guest homes up off this highway at this altitude before, although further north. This is actually not too far from town and close to Keauhou shopping center.... since you are a bit further south, it adds a little to your drive if you are driving north to the Kohala coast beaches but otherwise it was wonderful. The house was absolutely immaculate with nary a bug or ant in sight. Which has been a rarity in my former experiences in Hawaii! It's always cooler staying up the hill but this house with its open concept meant some windows are screens and don't close so be prepared with pj's for nighttime. As always when staying at a plantation area, there are roosters. We have stayed at about 4 different guest homes in the past 4 years and this one has been our favorite. We will be back.
