Interaction with Guests
We are laid back and are open to hanging out in the evenings and enjoying a beverage together, but are certainly okay with giving you your own space, should you prefer. We are also more than happy to give you some pointers on great events and sites in Boston.
The Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston is full of locavore restaurants, friendly neighborhood bars, trendy shops, and we even have the Sam Adams Brewery right in our backyard. There is a cute coffee shop right around the corner that's a perfect work space. We live right next to two of the largest parks in Boston, which are wonderful for evening strolls if you love green spaces! There is free street parking available and we live just a 5 minutes walk from the nearest subway stop (orange line, which will get you directly downtown in about 15 minutes)! We are also very close to Longwood Medical Area.
Other Things to Note
We do have a puppy (Patrick) but he is not allowed in the room you will be staying in. He is hypoallergenic (samoyed breed) and very friendly!
We tend to spend our time with friends and family, and exploring the world. For this reason, our household does not have cable, but there is a TV with a Netflix account in the bedroom. We also have a large bookcase full of great books that we will happily share with you during your stay!
This is a great place to stay. Amanda was a lovely host. The space is private, clean, uncluttered. Great location. No drapes, pillows...easy for people with dust allergies. Worth staying here just for the shower head alone! And Patrick, the pup, is wicked cute.
Amanda is an excellent host. The room was clean and very comfortable. Private bath is a big plus. We will definitely stay here again when traveling to Boston.
The place was booked for my parents, they were really happy with everything. According to them they had a 5 star experience. Every time i asked them about their experience, they smiled and said that nothing could be better than this.
About the place its more beautiful in person than in pictures. I always felt that it has an artistic feel to it, and there is something about the place which makes it very welcoming. Everything was considered, the room is well lighted and is beautiful. It had every possible thing that a person needs.
I really feel sad that we couldn't get much time to interact with Amanda and Sara except for the first day due to our busy schedule. But when they did both were so sweet and welcoming.
I would suggest this place to anyone due to following reasons :-
1. Perfect room (You will have everything you need).
3.Perfect place ( close to coffee houses and restaurants).
4.Totally worth the price.
5. Patrick is the most beautiful dog i have ever seen.
This was mine and my husband's first Airbnb stay and it was perfect! Our hosts Amanda and Sarah were accomodating and really nice. Our room was exactly what we needed. The mini-fridge, tv, and private bathroom really made for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was really cool, with great restaurants and a park just a few streets away.
Amanda was a great host. I was in town for business and very short on time - the space was easy to locate, very close to a wonderful cafe, simple to find parking, and the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The room was very clean and inviting and I enjoyed my stay very much and would highly recommend staying there for anyone interested in the Boston area.
Amanda and Sarah's place was the PERFECT spot! We made last minute accommodations to stay in the city and Amanda was so helpful and responsive. Instructions on how to get into her apartment were very thorough and we felt so welcomed. The room was so nice and clean and very sweet. Amanda helped us find a place to get a quick drink as well. Our stay was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more accommodating.
We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda and Sarah's place. They allowed us to drop our things off before check in which was extremely helpful. The room was in a separate space and Amanda and Sarah are very friendly hosts. Everything was as described and we loved the space! It is a very short walk to the subway which was very convenient along with the free parking. A very comfortable and cozy living space that made our short stay that more enjoyable.
