Bon accueil et séjour de deux jours dans cet appartement. L'appartement est grand et bien situé (un peu bruyant). Akira est arrangeant sur les horaires. Parking pratique. Petit bémol sur la qualité de la literie et du Wifi.
Akira made us feel very welcome in Barcelona! As soon as we were on the aerobus we recieved a text from him saying that he waited for us in the apartment. It was no problem finding the apartment thanks to his clear directions how to get there from the airport. It was perfect for us 6 women: clean, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 sinks (only one extra shower could make it just a little more perfect). We could easely walk to the Sagrada Familia, the beach and Barceloneta and the Gothic area. And not expensive at all!
I would surely recommend staying in this apartment to anyone!
Akira was a courteous and helpful host. we could always ask for tips or contracting him. The apartment was as shown on the pictures, very clean and comfortable. All in all was it a very nice trip to Barcelona and we would book again at any times this accomodation. Thank you, Akra and have a very nice 2013!
Strengths- Location. 1)If you like to walk, this place is great. We walked to Sagrada Familia a few times and to Old Town as well. It is abut 20 minutes to both places. If you want, the underground is a block away, so you can get around that way too. 2) Akira really tries to be helpful and keeps in contact with you. He sets you up with a lot of information. 3) The bathrooms were just re-done. They are pretty nice. 4) I took the Metro to the train station to get to the airport, all on the T-10 Ticket (10 Metro /train multi-person trips for about 9 Euro). Pretty easy to do. 5) We asked Akira to get us some groceries because we arrived Christmas day. He set us up and charged 6 euros for what we wanted. 6) He also set up an airport shuttle for us when we arrived, although you get by with the train within one block. 7) Many restaurants and small groceries down Marina. 8) Heat was very good.
Just Ok- 1) Furnishings and bedding are just ok. The place was pretty clean, but didn't quite feel like hotel clean. 2) Street noise was there, but not too bad. If you are a light sleeper, it may be a problem- but you are in Barcelona!
Weaknesses- 1) Door handles/hinges squeak (loudly!). 2) The apartment could use a touch up with some handy work and a little more cleaning. 3) The shower is elevated and smaller in size. The door entrance is small and I tripped and fell on the floor, but luckily I wasn't hurt. If you are a big body, the shower will be a definite squeeze.
Overall, it was an older European apartment in what we thought was a very good location.
Un piso muy cómodo, bien ubicado, con todo lo que uno necesita.
Akira is e very nice and pleasant host, with good management and customer focus skills. Even if you didn`t made your touristic itinerary, he will help you and give you the best advises. He always answered when we need something (even if it was late at night)
The apartment is nice and clean; the living room is perfect to take lunch/watch tv or play a board game - we were 6 persons.
Overall, I recommend Akira's flat! it was a nice experience!!! if I will visit BCN again, I will book this apartment with no restraints.
