Heigo is an awesome host, he really try to do anything to make your stay better and he is always open for help in any issue related to your stay in the house or any other. The house is always clean and organized, Heigo does his best to make it run in order!
This was my first time in a shared house and I was afraid of that (sleep in the same bedroom than unknown people and leave all personal stuff in the house), but all was fine. Overall people are very easygoing, the most part are Stanford students or IT professionals, all coming for the Silicon Valley dream.
I stayed 1 month in the house and, definitely, I recommend for everybody to stay in Looky home. It will be an amazing experience in the heart of Silicon Valley!
We had a great time at the Looky Home. We were greeted by a somewhat weird guy (another guest) who wouldn't let us in at first, but Heigo quickly took care of that ;-). All the other maybe five or so guests from all around the world were really nice and interesting to talk to.
The place is beautiful, clean and quiet and located in what seems to be a very good and safe neighborhood. Heigo even provides a couple of bikes for his guests which we used to get to Stanford and back. If you don't mind sleeping in a bunk bed (which by the way was no problem at all) I would definitely recommend this place.
Can't say enough good things. Heigo was a very gracious and welcoming host, taking care of all needs. The accommodations were as expected with a clean house and excellent communal areas. The unexpected bonus was an international group of friends and we shared with each other not only our business expertise but our amazing cooking experiences as well.
I came in Heigo house for a week and it was a very good experience.
My friend has stayed at Heigo's house for about 10 days now. She has been very comfortable, has enjoyed the house and the people staying there. She has mentioned how Heigo is nicely worried about everybody feeling comfortable.
I have personally been at the house and it is in an excellent location. Nice neighborhood, peaceful...
I believe staying in this house is an excellent option for someone needing to stay for a few days in Silicon Valley.
Villa looky is a great place to stay in Palo Alto. Cheap, charming and cozy. While I stayed at the place, there were people from all around the globe, from China to Brazil, France and Switzerland, Germany to New York.
All seems perfect, huh? Well, then there's Heigo. He's some sort of a software prodigy, young and very nerd. Hahaha, just kidding Heigo, in case you're reading. He's a great guy, always trying to blend in with the guests, offering nice opportunities around town.
The place is awesome. I'd stay there again and again.
Heigo is a generous, accommodating host. He has designed the space to be self-explanatory, with ready access to whatever might be needed by just about anyone. Laundry, cooking, computer station, hot water, quiet sleep--what I needed was easily available, and the open set-up gave me a sense of both freedom and belonging. This is a classic Eichler home with original modernist open floor plan, and Heigo maintains this tradition in style, creating a visually appealing space. [I was decades older than other guests and yet didn't feel at all out of place.] I met engaging people, mostly Europeans, during my four-day stay. My two roommates were lovely Chinese women, Lee and Julia, I loved getting to know them. A safe, quiet neighborhood, easy 15-minute drive to my training at Stanford's Red Barn, a stop at Trader Joe's on the way back in the evening, uncomplicated, spacious, open, this was the perfect place for me to rest and regroup at the end of each day. Thanks so much, Heigo, you are an awesome host.
Ok first. Arrival was easy. Heigo was a fantastic host. First he greeted me and introduced me to all the other guests, I felt immediately welcomed and it was a seamless transition in. I was a bit worried about the bunk situation, as I have never done since my Military days and wow.
Interacting with all these great guys from Stanford students, to start up owners, business men and women, from all different walks of life with great things to share, Im glad to have come. I was able to expand my network with quality people and learn so much Heigo is a great ambassador to Palo Alto, hes very passionaite about the town and has love for his guests and his people.
The place was surprisingly clean, and I really didn't expect that. The guests were all well educated and respectful. The place was so quiet. We did some dinners together and it was just a great socially accepting atmosphere.
I run a real estate company, I had the luxury of making some powerful connections while here so I highly recommend the place to anyone who's in business looking to network here. I will definitely stay again. Beats being stuck alone in the Ritz!
Couldn't have asked for a better time in Palo Alto! Heigo is a gracious host who pays meticulous attention to making sure that every guest at Looky home has an enjoyable stay! The property is also fantastic for my needs. I loved waking up in the morning, sit on the bed, and look through the floor-to-ceiling window, which faces the beautiful backyard with a nice swimming pool, a small playground, and trees and grasses all basking in the glory of California sunshine! The house didn't feel crowded at all and I really enjoyed everyone's company. Will try to come back with every opportunity I get. :)
It was my first time booking an apartment with airbnb and I couldn´t be happier with my choice to stay at Heigo´s Looky Home.
It was clean, new, the beds were very comfortable, and I guess I was also very lucky with the people who stayed there with me.
Heigo is an awesome host, who is very interested in improving the house and also really helpful with whatever comes up.
I would definitely book Looky Home again.
Thanks Heigo! :)
