Welcome to my house! This cute Mexican style house has been renovated, has a roof top terrace with a beautiful view of the mountain Buffa. It is situated near mummy's museum,15 min walk from the historical town, 10min taking a bus.
This Mexican country style house was built about 35 years ago and it has been renovated 3 years ago. It has vaulted ceiling with brick, is decorated with beautiful traditional Mexican tiles called Talavera.
At the moment I offer a special price. Normal price is 25 dollars per night, but I charge only 20 dollars. The reason why I make discount is I have started to build the second floor of my house(from May to Sep). Now the rooftop terrace is under construction, so you can not enjoy the view. There is a mess and noise during the day. But there is no mess inside of the house. Also I try to keep the house clean.
So, if you don’t mind a mess and noise, you are always welcome to my house.

Interaction with Guests
Now I dedicate to jewelry making and I have a small jewelry shop in the town. I work in my atelier upstairs during the week and in my shop for weekends. I hope you enjoy staying in my house. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me. I have been living here for more than two years, I know most of the tourist sites in Guanajuato, also I have some information of most of the Latin American countries by my experience.
It is safety place around here. You can find some shops where you can buy vegetables, fruits, drink, breads, snack only a few steps. There is a famous mummy's museum just one minute from my house. Things which may annoy you are some noise from buses during the day, howling dogs, cackling hens in the morning. If you need to have absolutely quiet environment, my house is not your destination. May be not only my house but also whole Guanajuato town is a quite noisy place. There is no parking space in my house. Some guests parked their cars in front of my house. But I can not be responsible in case of some trouble.
From the town, you can walk (15 min)or take a bus(10 min), there is a bus stop in front of the house.
From the Guanajuato bus terminal, you can take a taxi(15 min). Taxi fee is 45-50 pesos, You can say " Up to mummy's museum" .

Fumi is a super nice host. She is warm, helpful, and friendly. Because my flight was at 8 o'clock in the morning, and I have to wake up around 6:30. She woke up at the same time and called taxi for me. Strong recommend.
I had a great time staying with Yumi. Her house is just as gorgeous as in the pictures and she was very warm and friendly. I was very happy with the location as it was only a 15-minute walk into the centre and meant that I got more of a feel of what it was like to live in a neighbourhood. I would highly recommend staying here!
Fumi was a wonderful host. She made us feel extremely welcome, was very thorough in her instructions of how to find her house, and has one of the most beautiful homes I've seen anywhere. Fumi is an artist and it reflects in her surroundings.
Her house is just outside the Centro, and is an easy bus ride or even a walk into the middle of town. Her neighborhood is bustling during the day and early evening, but by 9 PM or 9:30, it quiets down. (Of course, there are the usual nighttime dogs :-) I highly recommend Fumi's beautiful place and her hospitality.
Fumi house is very clean and friendly. Fumi help your problems and give good advice. The house is very comfortable. Thank You!

About the Host, Fumi
I am Japanese woman who dedicate to a fabrication of Jewelry. I used to travel a lot as I worked in a agency of international human development. I lived in Morroco, El Salvador, Madagascar and Bolivia. When I first came here to Guanajuato, I really liked this very cute colorful city, and after I left from my work, I decided to live here. I have been living here for just one year. I bought a cute mexican style house which I really wanted to have. Now I enjoy fabricating jewelry in my atelier with the lovely warm weather of this region and beautiful view of the mountain from my roof top terrace. I speak English, Spanish, French and of course Japanese.
