I rent a 18-square-foot single room in a 4-room apartment in an apartment building. The room is simply furnished. There is a sofa bed (95 x 200cm), a cupboard, a TV, small table, a desk and chair and a bookshelf. The room is carpeted. General kitchen use after arrangement: The kitchen is happy to be used to make coffee or tea, or to quickly make something warm. Detailed cooking is not possible.
The apartment is very well located and central. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Several restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity. A laundromat is just around the corner. All you need is so accessible by foot.
The landlord speaks also English.
With Oktoberfest and fairs prices are available on request.
Towels and linen are provided.
The tram (line 20 + 21, Sandstraße), subway (Stiglmaierplatz, line 1 and Theresienstraße, line 2) and a bus (line 100, Luisenstraße / Gabelsbergerstr.) are reachable within 5-7 minutes. The main railway station with the S-Bahn lines (phone number hidden) the subway lines 1+2+4+5 can be reached in about 12 minutes.
You don't need a car since everything is nearby, the parking spaces here are not for free. ;-)

Until 16 nights single price is € 33 and after 16 nights to 31 nights is € 470.
She was very kind, and I gave the location of the well-known place to go.
The house was very clean, had no trouble staying.
I felt very welcome at the home of Heide. She is a nice person.
Stayed with Heide for a month. Basically, it was great. Very central; I hardly ever used public transportation - in January! Felt quite homely. Heide herself is nice and extremely voluntarily helpful. Knows the city, its places and its ways by heart. Just as an example, it was she, rather than my university hosts, who told me that if they just write me a short letter, I could use it to get a humongous discount for public transportation. And in general she always had good München-advice, both for touristic purposes and for making it my temporary home de-facto. And sharing the place with her was convenient, too. For example, I need lotsa quiet or else I can't sleep, and she made sure I get it.
So all-in-all, I would definitely recommend the place, and am pretty sure it is under-priced.
p.s. finding a sim-card around to make up for the lack of Wifi is no problem at all.
I had a wonderful time in Munich. The apartment is in an ideal location as I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go and it was easy to find from the train station. Heide is a very thoughtful host and gave great tips and information about how to get around and enjoy Munich. Thank you Heide! Happy New Year!
Das Zimmer ist zentral gelegen und gemütlich ausgestattet. Heide eine sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Kurz gesagt: die perfekte Location für einen München-Aufenthalt jeglicher Art und Länge.
Heide is excellent hospitable host. She is always very attentive and kind. In her wonderful apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is located within the tourist route. You can walk to the main attractions, and not use the public transport. The room is very warm, clean and comfortable. Heide always willingly told which route would be a great to walk through Munich, advised to visit special places and events. Communication with Heide is a separate feature of this apartment.
Thanks a lot!
