Interaction with Guests
We love to learn about our guests, but also have a busy cafe to run. As a result, we tend to leave our guests to their own devices.
This is a great town with creative shops downtown, a tiger rescue facility down the road, and one of the best restaurants in the Raleigh/Durham area. Add that to hiking trails and a nearby lake and there's no shortage of things to do here.
There is no public transportation in this town.
What a great experience! The Treehouse Unit was exactly what I had hoped for, and the entire "property" was more than I could have expected. I got an email from Lisa the day before my arrival, indicating that I was being upgraded to the cottage, but when I explained that I preferred the Treehouse, I was switched back without hesitation. Cozy...comfortable...perfect! Wandered across the yard to the cafe in the morning. The lemon ricotta honeycakes were AMAZING! I strolled around, took photographs around the property, and enjoyed a few more cups of coffee before I headed just down the road to Pittsboro, which is a delightful and unique enclave. I hope to return. Highly recommend!
What a great stay! Lisa responded quickly to my booking request and made checking-in easy. The space was clean and comfortable, just as described. And breakfast in the morning was delicious! Would definitely stay again.
Great place - very unique tiny house. Phenomenal hosts - could not be nicer or more accommodating. Just a short walk (if it's warm enough) to downtown and the historic Chatham courthouse. Short drive up to Saxapahaw and the Haw River ballroom. Breakfast at the cafe was great. If I find myself back in Pittsboro, I'll be staying here!
The b&b was so much fun and just what we needed this weekend! Our wonderful, friendly hosts made us feel right at home... but "home" doesn't have food this delicious! We'll be back!
This place was awesome!! Such a cool unique space. It came with a complimentary breakfast at the cafe which was amazing! Lemon ricotta pancakes -- delicious! Check in and out was very easy, Lisa and her husband were really friendly! Is recommend it !
This was my first experience w/ Airbnb and I could not think of a more welcoming and unique place for an overnight stay. The accommodations were small (cozy), sweet & simple. The real beauty was in the surroundings...the gardens and thoughtful layout of the property that was both eclectic and charming. We felt completely at home and very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the Small B&B Cafe which features farm-to-table deliciousness! Lisa & Dave are the perfect hosts.
We had such a wonderful time in Pittsboro! We live less than an hour away in Raleigh and had a wonderful "staycation". Our hosts were great, Lisa could not have been friendlier and Dave stopped serving food during a busy brunch to help us with car troubles.
The food is delicious, the space is really unique and fun, and these are good people!
