CENTRALLY LOCATED SAN FRANCISCO RETREAT AWAITS Enjoy Private bedroom, en-suite bath as your launching pad to the City's hottest neighborhoods-Mission/Valencia-Noe Valley/24th St. & The Castro: a short walk from your door Plus easy MUNI and Parking
This is your private bedroom, with a stunning view to the south and new bed linens exclusively for Airbnb guests.
My flat is on Liberty Hill, overlooking the mission and has the best micro-climate in San Francisco. With skylights and floor to ceiling windows in the living area, the space is flooded with light by day, and has expansive views of twinkling city lights by night.
The private bedroom has a Queen size bed with a luxurious pillow top mattress and new linens, and the en-suite bath is stocked with toiletries you may need during your visit. There is plenty of closet and drawer space in case you want to unpack and you have access to a washer and dryer. There is an additional full bath off the hall. The living room/dining area as well as the kitchen and balcony with seating are yours to enjoy while you are here. There is a private garden on the lower level, which provides you with a secluded park-like setting for meditation, reading or sunning.
Interaction with Guests
I am generally available to greet you upon arrival. If you are on the premises or out on the town and need any kind of assistance, I am only a text away. I enjoy getting to know my guests over breakfast. Of course you may have other plans, in which case we will see each other in passing or by arrangement. I have a fantastic housemate, Niels, who travels frequently. There is also a new member of our household as of March 2015, Jing, a 6 month old, extremely shy, small mix breed rescue. She spends most of her time with me in my studio on the lower level of the building.
It is absolutely true that if it is nice in San Francisco, it is beautiful in my back yard. I enjoy a walk to Mission Dolores Park every day. There are three distinct neighborhoods within a few blocks, for you to explore boutique shopping and many of the city's finest restaurants.
You are less than 30 minutes from any downtown destination on the street car and it is a pleasant 12 minute stroll to BART and then on to the East Bay or San Francisco International Airport in a flash. Don't tell anyone, but parking is always available on Hill Street.
Other Things to Note
I have posted Check In and Check Out times. If there is anything I can have available for you when you arrive, or you need suggestions where to go and what to do, please do not hesitate to ask.
I ask all guests to have a fully completed verification, Airbnb profile and if you are new to Airbnb and have no reviews, at least one personal recommendation. There is no smoking allowed in the building, however smoking is permitted on the balcony adjacent to the living area, with the doors closed. If you plan to have visitors to Hill Street House, please let me know in advance, your relationship to the visitor(s) and the expected duration of their visit. I will consider small, quiet dogs for an additional $25./night and a $100. security deposit. The dog must remain with you at all times, never left alone in your room. This is only approved case by case so please provide details. You may come and go as you please. However, please respect quiet hours between 11 PM and 7 AM.
This is a very nice place in a very nice and quiet spot, quite close (15 minutes walk) to the heart of the Castro. Everything is right about it, and Peter is a very helpful host. Highly recommended.
The host was very gracious greeting us at the location. His instructions were clear and we didn't have any issues whatsoever. The space was beautiful, spacious and well-stocked. The view from the room was gorgeous, and while in a great location the area was quiet and private. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
Super clean apartment with amazing views. And Peter made me a delicious breakfast!
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Pete's home. He was super courteous and his apartment is in a great location with amazing views. The room was quiet, spacious and very clean in a sweet neighborhood just a couple of blocks from Dolores Park (a must in SF!) The bed was super comfy. Peter prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We totally recommend this place if you are looking for a home away from home!
I had an amazing time staying with Peter in his SF home. He is a wonderful Airbnb host - we were able to share a delicious breakfast (he cooked French Toast!) and have great conversations during my short stay. The house itself is very clean and has a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline, especially at night. Would highly recommend!
Peter was the consummate host. He is engaging and a good conversationalist.
The view from his balcony includes downtown San Francisco and part of the bay.
The apartment is tastefully furnished and my room was immaculate. It was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The mixed fresh fruit was a treat. I enjoyed walking three blocks To Dolores Park to enjoy a sunny Sunday in San Francisco. I am awarding Peter five stars because he earned them.
Peter is a very nice and welcoming person! We had a great time in his appartment. The room was very clean and cozy, and it was very equipped.
The view from the apartment is beautiful and the neiberhood is safe.

I was born in Lansing, Michigan. While in grade school, I moved with my family to Grosse Pointe, Michigan and then Paris, France before settling in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I was there for six years, studying music at the University of Michigan, School of Music, obtaining a Bachelor and Master Degree in Music Performance. I then moved to San Francisco, California. My first apartment was a charming studio in the marina district, followed by a Victorian Flat on Nob Hill. Finally, I moved to my home on Hill Street in Noe Valley, where I have lived for 22 years. Since my arrival, this neighborhood has evolved into one of San Francisco's most exciting and dynamic locations.
