I spent 4 nights with Michelle and Jeffrey while in San Francisco on business. They were more than accommodating, and helped to organize access to the room around my crazy schedule. The room was clean and VERY comfortable. They respected my privacy, while still inviting me to have a delicious breakfast every morning. Their coffee is the best! I strongly recommend staying with Michelle and Jeffrey on your visit to San Francisco!
Michelle & Jeffrey are a couple of warmest people I've met in the city. They're overall really swell people that are not only friendly but very helpful and insightful. I enjoyed hanging with them and they were super helpful with helping me find my way around. Their home is cozy, comfortable, and really gives you insight into what it's like to be a true local.
Upon arrival I felt immediately welcomed and at ease with Michelle, who promptly took me on a wonderful tour of the great neighbourhood, which we finished at my behest with the first of many beers!
I similarly clicked with Jeffrey and we would spend the rest of the week trying not to get into too much trouble ;) Especially after Jeffrey suffered being knocked off his bike by a crazy driver, yet remained the consummate host.
The bed is very comfortable, the room cosy. Unfortunately the separate entrance was unusable due to a lock problem but this did not affect me as our similar tastes meant we pretty much lived in each others' pockets anyway!
Breakfast, sushi, dinner, communal smoke sessions and meeting the neighbours (which resulted in a fabulous yacht trip across the Bay), not to mention an unending supply of insider local knowledge and history, all contributed to one of my best airbnb experiences yet.
I feel when I return to San Francisco I can call Michelle and Jeffrey friends and I hope they feel the same about me.
Warmth, friendship and comfort! These three words perfectly describe Jeff and Michelle's Air B&B hosting style. From the delicious haute cuisine every day to the night of dancing and laughing at local bars, the 5 hour bike ride of lunacy to the comedy club jam. In just two days I have gained some delightful new friends who treated me with love, respect and care. I will ALWAYS stay with these two legends when I'm in SF and you'd be a fool not to experience this unique Air B&B adventure!
