  • Great property and a gracious host. We will certainly be returning!

  • I was looking for a farm experience for my two city slicker girls, age (10) and (6). Catherine and Bob could not have been more welcoming, and we could not have found a more friendly environment. They treated us like long time friends and in turn, we felt as comfortable in their home as our own. Catherine puts out very positive energy and the property is as beautiful as the pictures. As most of the reviews noted we learned a lot about chickens, but the girls were more interested in the two dogs that run the place, the adorable Sugar and Milo. All in all, the property was exactly what we were looking for. We also used the location as a jumping off point to explore the general area, Bob's recommendation of hiking on Coleman Valley Rd was perfect; and we found ourselves going all the way to the coast and enjoying a great day at one of the best dog friendly beaches anywhere, Blind Beach. Looking forward to coming back, thank you Catherine.

  • We had a lovely stay at Catherine's place for a rainy weekend in Sebastopol. The location is beautiful and the house is huge. You could easily fit a group of people in this house. The kitchen is large and great for cooking and it is located near a lot of wineries and tasting rooms. The wood burning heater was great and kept the house warm through our stay. Thanks again Catherine for a great stay. I would definitely recommend this place with easy access to Santa Rosa, Healdsburg and more.

  • We stayed at Catherine's place in Sebastopol for 2 nights a few weeks ago and had a blast. The property is beautiful, the home is charming, the dogs and neighboring horses were fun to hang with and Catherine was a great host! Would definitely stay here again with few friends for some mellow days on the farm. Thanks again!

  • Wow, what an amazing place. My family and I didn't want to leave once we where there. Catherine is THE most accommodating and generous host. She was very responsive on the message exchanges, offered very quick answers to all my small questions from the very beginning until the very end. She was always kind and generous handing us any help we needed throughout our stay. We were so pampered !!

Her home is beautiful and has a great open feel. As we entered the home, we were welcomed by the fresh smell of woods and high ceiling. It feels much bigger than the pictures and looked even more beautiful. Big kitchen, and gorgeous view from living, kitchen, master and 2nd bedroom. Beds are very comfy ! Happy chicken run around freely.

It is not decorated with massive stuff, but I kinda like that simple approach. Definitely like it better than "stuffy" place. I appreciated that Catherine cleans the place with natural products, so entire place does reflects that. Which means maybe some of the linens are not chemically breached white, white stuff- but I could tell everything was cleaned very well with care, so I actually liked it and felt very good in the home.

Kitchen are not as stocked as the other places I had seen, but Catherine provided us anything we needed in addition to whatever was there.

Great stay. We're hoping to come back !

  • Had an amazing time this weekend while staying at this lovely and spacious home! Very convenient location to wineries close by as well, which was an important factor for our group. Area was very peaceful.

Catherine was a great host and she made sure we were comfortable. She even went beyond by providing us with a loaf of bread and fresh eggs from her chickens!

    Overall - wonderful time!

  • Great relaxing place to spend a vacation in wine country. On the laid back side of things, but well equipped and plenty spacious. Kitchen's great, nice master bedroom, lots of space and a beautiful property.
Thanks, Catherine for making everything so easy and helping us with the wood stove. Cheers!

  • We had an amazing time at Catherine's place. Everything was very beautiful and it was the perfect place to relax and escape city life. The home was very nice and everything was clean and well-kept. We had a blast playing with the chickens and we even got to eat fresh blue chicken eggs from an Americano chicken! I plan to go back soon. Catherine was very nice and it was a weekend well-spent.

  • Catherine's farm is situated in a beautiful part of Northern California and is well worth the visit. She is a kind and generous host, who offered us fresh eggs from chickens on the farm and brought coffee by in the morning. She even cut us fresh herbs from her vegetable garden, which were wonderful! She was in great contact and easy to check in and check out with. We stayed here overnight after a wine-tasting day-trip through Napa. Catherine gave us full use of her kitchen, where we made a great group dinner, and she had cable available to check out the Olympics. The house has a land-line for internet, which was fine. It's sparsely furnished and a bit unfinished as a living space, but the views of the pastures and vegetable gardens from the windows were gorgeous in the morning. We used a charming pot-belly stove to heat the house, and it was comfortable enough for our group of four.

  • Really neat house that has a lot of potential. The open air setup and huge master bedroom are fantastic. The views of the property are also wonderful. We stayed during a very intense rain storm so we did not get to explore the property, but we were quite comfortable in the house all afternoon and evening. Catherine is very friendly and bonus that she braved the crazy rain to pick us up bread and coffee for breakfast (plus the fresh eggs from her chickens).

I live in Sebastopol in a house next to the one I rent. I am an artist. I like to paint plein air landscapes and people. I am an avid cook and prepare all my own organic, gluten/casein free meals for several years now. I love my chickens, I currently have only 11 including a rooster but hope to have many more soon. My other past times are gardening for vegetables, butterfly's and bees.
