Interaction with Guests
During December and June i'm free most of the time, so i have more availability to be with the guests, if they wish so, to sightseeing around the city, museums, and who knows, maybe i'll even have time to make a BBQ on the terrace.
The building is located on the historic and cultural heart of Bogota: La Candelaria.
The neigborhood is truly great, it has many museums, universities, bookshops, coffeshops, bars and restaurants. It's a traditional neighborhood, and the houses have kept their colonial style, only adding some colours that make it one of the greatest tourist spots in the city.
Also, the apartment is above "Bogota Beer Company", the most famous beer shop in the city, and the one with the best beers.
Most of the touristic sites of the city are on walkable distance of the building, maximum 10 minutes. Besides this, two Transmilenio stations are nearby: "Museo del Oro" is 2 minutes away and "Las Aguas/Universidades" is 5 minutes away. Both connect with the B,C,D, and F lines, allowing you to move easily around the city.
Also, the building is 5 minutes away from the Carrera Séptima (7a), the main commercial avenue of Bogotá.
Other Things to Note
I'm a constant traveler, and in Bogotá i work with foreign students, therefore i know from first hand all the needs you may have here, and some great places to visit.
The city is very diverse and has a lot to offer, and best of all, most of the best things of Bogotá are close to the building.
The building is usually a student residence, but during certain periods of time it is free so the romos are available exclusively for Airbnb travellers.
We mainly expect you to be clean, organized and friendly with us and the other people in the building. And that you come with a lot of enthusiasm of knowing this great country.
The stay at Alejandro´s place could not have been better! He was amazingly quick the communication, the room was clean, nice, perfectly in the center of Bogota and the rest of the house was awesome! There were some other people renting a room, and we had an amazing time!
HIGHLY recommend this place!
Alejandro is a wonderful host! I enjoyed my stay with him very much. The room is a short walk to many museums and other attractions. The students that live here are friendly and happy to include you in their plans. Highly recommended. Thanks Alejandro!
This is the best price in Bogota. The place had a great atmosphere with lots of young backpackers. Alejandro accommodated all of my last minute changes and requests. The hostel is on a somewhat boisterous corner in Candelaria so there's a bit of noise in the first floor rooms until late, so you might as well join the party at any if the small authentic Bogota bars nearby. Only snag was TP occasionally ran out in the bathroom and I had to find someone to ask for more.
Una buena experiencia en el sitio que elegí para hospedarme en bogotá, gracias por todo y por ser tan cálidos y amables en el trato
Amazing place. Fantastic people. Staying another few nights!
Alejandro and Raul have been amazing hosts! Everyone in the house is so friendly and helpful! They made my stay in Bogota absolutely wonderful. Thank you for everything!

About the Host, Alejandro
I'm from Bogotá. I run a student residence with another friend, so over the semester we host students from all around the world and show them the best costumes and places of the city and the country. On December and June they're gone, so we are happy to host people through Airbnb.
On my free time I like to travel a lot in Colombia, and when I can around the world. Also, I have a big obsession with music, and spend much of my time discovering new bands or albums, so any suggestion you might have from your home country will be greatly appreciated!
I'll be happy to host you, and show you something about Bogotá and this great country: Colombia!
