A nice place in a great location - very close to the Ostbahnhof for easy access to anywhere in München!!
This was our first experience in using airbnb and it was a good one. The flat we rented was all it was portrayed to be in the pictures. The location in regards to convenience was as described. We could have used instructions on how to use the washing machine, but since we didn't really need it, we were fine without it. The neighborhood was quiet, and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants, all within 10-15 minute walks (assuming you have no problems walking). We will definitely use Airbnb on our next trip to Europe .
a really cool place to stay in Munich - not far from public transport and a really comfortable place to see. Margaux was a great host with great communication and although she wasn't there to welcome me, a lady in the building showed me round the apartment. a really good experience.
Very good apartments in comfortable, silent, safe area not far from the city centre. Near metro station and big mall are located, where one can buy all necessary goods for everyday life. Large, comfortable bed, wash machine, kitchen, etc. Big thanx to Margaux for our excellent vacations in Munich :)
A nice apartment with everything you need. Everything is functioning.
The correspondence with Margaux has been terrific - helpful and very quick all the way through.
The apartment is 800 meters from Ostbahnhof so you have to prepare for a some walking every day. All in all a good and recommendable experience.
The unit needs a little work. It's a bit beat up looking. There should be a least two more extension cords available. The window blinds need to be repaired or replaced. Window screens would stop bees/other insects from getting in the unit. The kitchen really needs a new knife sharpener. There is a new microwave oven but next to no counter space to prepare a meal. On the positive side having a clothes washer was nice and there was also an apparatus to hang the clothes on to dry. The stove works very well. The S Bahn and U Bahn trains are within a 15 minute walk. Having WiFi in the unit was very nice. The nearby grocery store is handy but have cash on hand. We discovered, to our dismay, the store only takes their own credit card or cash. The lady who rents out the place is very nice as is the lady who cleans it for her. The cleaning lady speaks no English but we managed to communicate well enough in spite of that.
The apartment is really great. Its just 10 minutes walk to Ostbanhof station where you can take the ubahn, sbahn and buses to the city center that is just a few minutes away.
The place is very clean, has a good kitchen and bathroom with and amazing shower.
Also you have a really big supermarket a few blocks away if you want to cook instead of eating out.
The internet worked perfectly.
All in all we had a really good time in this apartment.
The flat was very quiet, clean and spacious and lived up to all that it promised. It is however some distance from restaurants and bars so you need to allow a 10 minute walk to get to the nice areas. The nearest sun´bway is a 7 minute walk away. The free WLAN was a big plus.
I liked this flat: it's spacious, clean, quite and cosy. It's very well-equiped. A free WI-FI was a very pleasant bonus!
The other advantange is it's location: it's close to the metro station and by car it's just few minutes to the Marienplatz.
Unfortunately, I had no chance to talk with landlady Margaux, as she was in a trip, but even remotely she was very helpful and friendly.
Kitchen is well-equipped: there is no microwave, but there is an oven and all required dishware, fridge.
I would strongly recommend this flat!
The only minus, wich i can name is a noisy bed. It's big and comfortable, but makes a lot of noise, when you move or turn over on it.
location is quite closed (15 minutes walk) to underground station. Place is spacious and clean. Worth the money. For some reason, my computer could not connect to the LAN, so I have no internet access for my entire stay. My constructive suggestions include: brief written directions on how to go to the underground station from the apartment; how to use the LAN computer connection ( I use WIFI); how to use the wash machine just in case guest would like to do laundry; and some interesting places to visit. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this place to others. Hilda
