An entire large 1 bedroom flat with garage parking, washer/dryer (in unit), gas oven and stove, top-floor corner unit with cable TV, dining room/office, big bed and location near UCSF, Golden Gate Park and the Inner Sunset. Fantastic.

The Space

Sunny top-floor walk-up flat with private, remote-controlled covered garage parking included (think about how much you're saving considering what hotels charge!)

Anyway, my place has 1 bedroom, 1 living room & dinning room/office (double parlor layout), 1 bath (shower over tub) with wood floors throughout; nicely furnished. Kitchen with gas appliances, forced central air heat, in-unit laundry with washer & gas drier (approx. 800-900 sq ft) and is up two flights of stairs.

Also, amenity-wise: I have Comcast cable and WiFi internet. The flat is located near San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Park (de Young & Cal Academy), 9th & Irving neighborhood, and MUNI light rail/bus public transit system and UCSF.

I like to think it's very nicely decorated and comfortable. Great cookware (pots, pans, baking pans, food processor, roasting pan) and comfortable space to rest up.

I have a garage space that's big enough for most cars. If you're driving a tank though... you'll probably need to park on the street, which is relatively easy depending on the time of the day. And, the garage is not suitable for your plug-in car yet, but UCSF and neighborhood charging stations are nearby.

Otherwise, write me for more information if you have questions. And remind me to send you the detailed instructions on how to get in and the like once you're confirmed. Thank you!

P.S. I've only ever had to cancel a reservation once and that was due to a very minor pipe burst that has been since repaired.

P.P.S. Also, the place is a great starting off base if you're looking to move to SF too. Also, helpful is that I'm a real estate agent too that can help in your home search!

The Neighborhood

It's central, easy, and close to the Park, the Beach, and UCSF. There are great restuarants at 9th Ave and Irving and there's a great vibe too.

Oh yes, the MUNI N line is nearby as are various bus lines.

  • We had a small mix up on dates (I'll blame a very chaotic and busy time in sf) but overall Kevin was amazing and accommodating. His place is a gem. The location was quiet but also close to a great inner sunset village of markets, restaurants and some amazing coffee. His place is spacious and big and was easy to commute and work from. Kevin was great.

  • This was our first experience staying in an airbnb and I think we might be spoiled now. Our host made our check in convenient and worry free. He responded quickly to email or text messages before our stay, during our stay and after our stay. I truly have only good things to say. The place was clean, well lit by the sunshine, had a very comfortable bed and was furnished rooms in a way we could relax in. The airbnb was conveniently located near, the muni, resturants, golden gate park and small shop shopping. Thanks for a great stay in San Francisco.

  • We recently had a series of events in the city over the weekend and wanted our family members to be close by in our neighborhood. Kevin's home was perfect for my father and he had a very comfortable stay there. Kevin was a wonderful host. He was very thorough with his check in instructions which make it easy to enter his home, he greeted us upon our arrival and he responded promptly to all of our inquiries. The home has a nice Golden Gate Bridge and DeYoung view from the living and dining rooms and is an easy walk to Golden Gate Park. The home is also within easy walking distance to dozens of great restaurants, shops and stores in the Sunset neighborhood. The garage parking is a HUGE bonus as anyone who has tried their hand at city parking knows, and the home is also just a short walk to the N-Judah which will transport you from Ocean Beach to downtown or to BART for a $2 fare. The home is perfect for a couple or single who want to be on the west side of town with easy Muni access and parking, so park your car and explore the neighborhood and city on foot like a San Franciscan and if you do need a ride somewhere there are always plenty of Uber drivers in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Kevin's place to anyone looking for a great place in the Sunset for their next San Francisco visit.

  • This was the most amazing location, and we had such a wonderful stay! There are just two things that I will note, because I think it is beneficial to know before arriving 1. There must be an animal (a cat, maybe?) that normally lives in Kevin's home when guests are not there as I have severe allergies, and the moment I walked in, they activated (and the placed smelled like cat). 2. As other reviewers have mentioned the place is PACKED tight with Kevin's belongings. We were staying the week and had to live out of our suitcases because there was literally no where to put anything we brought. We also had to maneuver things to find places to plug in electronics and I ended up having to do my make-up at the stove because that was the only place there was room to place my make-up bag with a mirror available. Ultimately, the place could have been much more comfortable, but with so much to do nearby, my guest and I were not in the apartment for more than a shower and to sleep.

  • Our stay at Kevin Ho's was most accommodating and centrally located. If anybody is a cyclist or foodie this is the place to stay. Great view comfortable bed, and nice to have a kitchen with a rice maker. Thanks again!!!

  • This is an excellent place - clean, light, spacious, and beautifully appointed. Kevin was a great host. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and he left helpful information about the area. My wife and I were thrilled to find such a great apartment so near to Golden Gate Park. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks, Kevin!

About
Young professional here in San Francisco - lawyer/realtor and mediator. I've got a great place in the Inner Sunset that is close to public transit and to Golden Gate Park. Not too far out so we're spared a lot of he fog, but anyway, I digress. I'm often in the Bay Area but not at home, so I figured why not try AirBnB? Looking forward to helping you have a great time in San Francisco!
